My ex who lives 3,000 miles away and I are in communication now, after a year of brutal misunderstanding. Something felt wrong with all of my attempts at going out with others; same for him, too, and I finally visited & realized I still loved him and wanted to make him happy. I actually told him I would probably love him for the rest of my life, and asked him again to consider moving to be with me. He said he wasn't ready to get back together because he didn't feel like it right now, with all the water under the bridge, but also he wished the last year hadn't happened, and that he had been veey much in love. He said some tender things as I left him, and when I suggested we stay in touch, absolute joy leapt into his face. We are emailing almost every day about what we are doing, what we are trying to accomplish, how we feel about our lives. We have been doing this for about a week. It doesn't feel sexy, especially, but something is happening but my question is, what? What d'you think?

There is a man that I am very interested in, he has all the qualities that I am looking for in a man, except for one....he can't hold conversation very well. If I start a conversation, he usually does fine and chimes in, however, he never ever starts a conversation. When I run out of topics to talk about, its dead air, we sit and stare at each other and I can't stand it. I am really concerned about this, conversation skills are really important to me, but I don't want to give him his walking papers over this one thing.

Im not the conventional boyfirend type which means i try to outdo none other than myself when it comes to fashion and everything else. I mean we're ok in the love and relationship department and we get along really dynamically and have a lot of fun. My fashion sense is a blazer, casual shirt or polo, solid black hardtop shoes w/ hard bottom, jeans or three quarters. Now my girlfriend, she often tells me "oh hey yeah its nice." in a flattering way but it doesn't fool me. But this is the way i dress not just in front of her but my typical buddys. How should i show myself in front of my girl and should i change my apparel just for her??

My father and step-mother would like my half-sisters to become good little Christian girls. They are 9 and 10 and they are required to go to church every Sunday and they have both been baptised.

I'm not a Christian although my parents tried to raise me that way and I believed it for a time. However, as I got older, I realized it didn't make any sense and I lost my belief in God.

As a person who doesn't believe in God, I worry about my sisters being influenced into Christianity by my parents who think its their duty to teach them their beliefs. I understand that parents have a right to train their children.

Is it wrong for me to offer an athiestic view to my sisters or should I go on allowing them to be told things that I believe are lies? I know it's ultimately their choice but I have an opportunity to influence them in another direction. Should I interfere with my parents teachings?

my lawyer has met with me once, spoken with me twice on the phone (after several voicemail messages requesting him to return my call), I havent received anything in the mail or e-mail notifying me of any work being done on my case, and I still havent been able to pick up my personal property because I am waiting for him to mail the request to my ex's lawyer. It has been 2 months and I still have another month before my next court date. Any suggestions are appreciated and none will be ignored. Thank you

I am an older woman with a younger man. His lifestyle is not what most women want but it was ok with me. He's an exotic dancer. That was not the problem. I love him so much but I feel that our age difference is a problem not because of his age but I feel that I'm robbing him of his youth. I have gotten to the point where I don't trust him. He haven't really done anything to make me feel that way but then again he have. I know that he love me without a doubt and he have been there for me and my children and he has none. Alot of the problems that we do have comes from me. He have fought for our relationship since day 1 and if it was up to me I would have been gone . I decided to let him go and he begs for me to take him back but I told him no because we are not made for each other. I feel that he don't want the same things I want but in reality he really do. He will do anything to be with me so why can't I see it? He has now moved with another woman should I let him be free?

My parents are completely against me getting married before I graduate before college, but my boyfriend and I want to get married now. Sometimes I'm unsure of whether or not I'm ready to get married with him. I have known him since the 6th grade and we whent out most of high school. Then we got together again a year ago and have been happy ever since. I'm not pregnant or anything but I want to live my life with him. He's in the military so he lives on base and in order for us to live together he has to get married and have me as a dependent. I really dont want that to be the only reason why I get married though. I really do love this guy and I know he is the one. I just don't want to hurt my parents, and I know that this will hurt them a lot. They are really stubborn and probably wont even hear me out. He says that we could get married next weekend in Vegas with two friends as witnesses but I really want to have my whole family there.I don't know what to do, I dont want to hurt anyone

I had a messy first kiss-well i thought it was messy n wet but the ex reckoned i was a good kisser, anyway im 15 and going out with another boy to the movies in a few days and some of my friends think its weird that i made my ex wait so long (6 months) for a kiss (but it was my first bf and first kiss) and when i did it i was feeling sick that day and yea like i said above we never kissed again and i duno if it was cause i didn't feel for him or cause i suck at kissing-i don't wanna miss the oppurtunity next time or it to be messy or to turn off this new guy i like cause i can't kiss-had no experience-any advice or anything :) cause i liek the thought of kissing and like this guy im going to the movies with but even though hes a year younger i still feel inexperienced :(

am married for 3 yrs and 7 months. I am not at all satisfied with my married life. We do not have child. In the year 2005 he lost the job and was jobless for 8 months. During that time he pledged my jewels , took Rs.10,000/- from my ATM A/c without my knowledge , he lied that he got job somewhere when all the while he was sitting at home idle. When I came to know about all these things I made an issue and we lived separately for nearly 2 months. Then I got him job thro my acquaintances. After all these problems again he has done all those things mentioned above. If I start asking questions about this he argues and says I am torturing . I am really not satisfied with this marriage. I am employed. What should I do ?
Thanks for the immediate replies. I wanted to tell you all one more thing I had a relationship (by all means)before marriage. But he is a married guy and having children. He still loves me because of this dissatisfaction I was tempted to continue the relationship.

This older female neighbour, has from the outset tried her best to control us. We live in the flat (apartment ) above her, and the garden is shared, except she doesn"t do shareing, so we just leave her to it as we are fed up with the agro she causes, we ignore her , and she doesnt like that either, so now we get post with our address and her name on, this has happened to many times to be a mistake! We put the mail back in the post with a note on saying not at this address! Should we continue to do this? What would you do in this situation?If we approached her we know she would deny it, and start argueing, so we dont want to do that!

but personally is being different bad ??
i mean i love any for of art ....singing, dancing,writing etc.....i am the editor of our school newspaper. i write almost all our school musicals ...choreograph them and write the songs.
i even run a job in a music shop called 'Music World' and I am a part Of ' Stagefright Productions' ..a major group. I am also the captain of our school basketball team though i am a girl and wayunderage. i am a freshman.
but all my friends except one just ignore my fame and popularity and that hurts me and puts me down a lot.

i dont know what to do ?
am i obnoxious ? is being different bad....????
