between a BREAK and a break-UP? i still havent got that cleared up yet.

To take a break means to stop seeing each other for a while, usually until things get sorted out. Break up means they do not want to continue the relationship ever.

If your taking a break, that's a break up to me. Your not together. A break is a way to figure what the relationship is really worth, if u still got it. The time Will either drift u guys apart or make u realize what Ur missing.

a break is usually a pre-breakup. Wanting a break means that person is really tired of this relationship, yet he/she can't cut everything yet probably coz y'all have had some good moments in the past. If he/she is fine for a break, he/she will break up with you.
a break up means he/she is willing to let you go, lose you in his/her whole life.
