It may, it may not! If you’re chatting activities affect your matrimonial relationship with your husband, if he start misunderstands your chatting activities as infidelity on your part, & if such chatting activities actually one day results into infidelity on your part. All this can lead to divorce between you two. But if you keep yourself reserved while chatting & do it for some useful purpose I don’t think it should effect your matrimonial life as such, just keep a control on whatever you do on net it should not be too personal for any one to use you for his benefits & defame you in public. Avoid cam chatting as it can give wrong impression on the other person as you are a sort of wanting lady, hope you understand what I have stated here.

Well if it is just chatting and nothing more...then no it should'nt effect your marriage! I am assuming that you want to keep this relationship intact? If the conversations are more illicit or sexually provocative, then I'de have to say that the danger to your marriage can be very real!!! Especially if your Husband is the Jealous type,or takes thing to heart too easily. Perhaps your online chats are just harmless flirting and/or making some of your personal fantasies come true-somewhat? Whatever it is...you need to decide what your real priorities are. And then decide what your real needs are,in order to deal with this! You can quit chatting, quit him(husband) or you can be inclusive by getting him in on the action, and letting him do the very same thing that you do online-you could even do it together! The Keyboard is in your hands, but the Control is ultimately in your Brain! Hope this helps abit. Thx.theerrander@rogers.com

You already know the answer...just look at how you word the question. So I guess the real question is what kind of marriage or relationship do you want? Do you want an Internet relationship with one or more people or a flesh-and-blood relationship with the man you married? I suppose you might have both but the only way to do that is to tell your H what's going on and ask his approval. You already suspect what he'll say so sounds like you have to make a choice. And that sounds like life.

everything is depends on your mutual understanding with your husband. If he know u have became addict of chat in net and he knows the imlications of net chat take in confidence to him about what actually you do in chat. r u in chat for just making good friends, u should make the things clear to your husband. but if u like and enjoy chating u should never feel guilty, u r not doing any wrong. every person has right to live as he or she like. u have right to be happy and if u get happiness in chat u should go ahead.

Chating or flirting?
Many people make the mistake of assuming because its just typed words it's not real.

I could not say if it will affect your marriage, but I do know of at least one marriage of 13 years destroyed by it.

Yes, especially if you are hiding this activity from your spouse. Why do you have such a need to chat up other guys in the first place? You're a married woman, act like one.

Every Interest or Hobby shd be limited

Chatting is not an offence , you may be trying to know more ppl.
Wat matters is r u giving time to the rightful person(ur Hubby)

see anyone can be annoyed if u dont give them the proper attention they deserve.
It can hurt ur relationship more if ur interest is more than knowing other person and sharing views

Maybe if you 'go to far' with some guy, but otherwise it's not likely to hurt anything. Incidentally, If you'd be embarrassed that your husband saw what you were typing, you might want to reconsider that type of communication.
