I'm a straight guy, turning 16 in less than a month and my question is, is it weird for not wanting a girlfriend? I get complimented on my looks a lot of times by some girls, and I'm friends with a good share of them, some hot, some....not so much. It's not like I don't try asking girls out, but I end up developing a crush so strong for them, ending up asking them out, and they kind of leave me hanging, either being friends, or whatever. So I don't bother, or else one more denial would kind of crush my spirit.

Sure, there's hot girls I'd like to go out with, but they're not in my group of friends, and they're usually party girls, and I'm a straight-edge type of guy.

At this point, I'm somewhat sick of girls, especially all of them in my classes, who complain about the littlest things, saying random things they assume we care about. (For example, we're taking a test, and out of nowhere, this girl blurts out, "Omg, I just made this really stupid mistake." I can't help but think STFU.

I've asked a lot of questions about this one guy over and over and over. Each time a new problem comes up that im feeling worried about. This time it is worse. This hit me hard and i've had problems.
I like this guy named Frankie but Frankie doesnt like me he says [i dont have the right personality, im not attractive by his standards, not smart enough, and too young] heres the problem he likes a girl named Mickey. My cousin and friend. She is my age, she gets worse grades than me, and Frankie and i seem to 'click' more than thy do.
Worse part is she likes him too. She has a history of dating guys that are my firends and dumping them. After she dumps them she expects me not to talk to them, which i wont do.
Now frankie came over yesterday and mickey and him arent going out yet. We were sitting on the couch and before i knew it we kissed. Kind of jooking around and such it happened a few more times that night.

My mother has a boyfriend (she is divorced from my father), and he's very nice, polite, and respectful. In the beginning, I really didn't like the prospect of my mother having him as a boyfriend, not because of his personality or anything, but because it's just hard to accept him into the family, and I don't like the idea of him ever being my stepdad if they get married one day. I try my very best to accept him into the family, but it gets harder everyday. I thought after a while this feeling of dislike is supposed to go away! I don't show anything, but it's hard to keep my true feelings in. How can I have myself accept him as a member of the family? After all, I have no reason to hate him.

My uncle is into things like contacting ghosts and stuff and for my birthday he got me a book called Developing your Psychic powers. It freaks me out. He didn't give me a reciet so I couldn't return it and has been calling me asking if I've read it yet. Should I tell him I don't like and ask to return it? Or would that be rude?

My ex has moved not one inch from 3 and a half years ago.I left for someone else after 22 years. So be it.50% of marriages end in divorce. She has dedicated her life to making mine as difficult as possible, lying in court, making false allegations of "harrassment" ( I havent spoken directly to her in 3 years) and the like.. does this ever end????

I would have put this in singles/dating, but it seems like only middle school and high school kids live on that page. So when you are looking for a real relationship, not just someone to date a few times. Also not necessarily marriage. What do you think is the best way. I am leary of the seak and destroy desperation method of internet sites and bars. I also realize someone is not going to just walk up to your door and introduce themselves. So how did you meet your true love? I am in my late 30's so looking for age appropriate advice

i forgot my homework at school and it was due 3 days ago and i need to give it in on Monday and my friend already turned it in on Thursday and she already got the paper back on Friday though there are no writings. If i don't turn it in tomorrow then i will get a bad grade in the report card. And she is making up excuse about it and said no. If she was a real friend she'd give it to me. Don't you think so? I think she is just using me. When ever she needs a friend or favor. Please help me with my problems.

Okay.....I'm just wondering if anyone goes through the same thoughts and confusion that I do..? I am so tired of the ups and downs of my relationship. Does anyone feel like their spouse just doesn't get them? Do you often have arguemnets and feel like they never get resolved ever, maybe because you just totally got misunderstood by your spouse? But this happens often. I want to be best friends with my husband. But we are soooo different, and have such different views and ways of looking at things. He is not a bad guy, but he is so set in his ways. I feel like I live life his way, my thoughts don't count much for anything. I'm just looking for people who can relate. Tell me your story.......Thanks!

So let say, we have a time machine. Now in the present, we already know who your spouse is. Let's travel 10 years back into the past, shall we?

Bloop bloop bloop.

Oh kay now let's kidnap yourself 10 years ago and let's meet your spouse(10 years ago version).

And then I go:

"Behold! Your future husband/wife. *grin*"

What would you say and how would you react?

(Summarized: If I introduced you your spouse 10 years ago to you and say this will be your future spouse, how would you react and what would you say?)

This is the situation the best friend is always there to listen.
Including eveything about the girl's boyfriends. Can she end up falling in love with him? Ok he is great, but passionate love was experienced with someone else, love thoughts, tears, disappointments, etc. and the best friend was there to witness everytning. Why does he fall in love with the girl?
and If they end up having an affair can she forget her past love? Can they be really happy? Can he actually forget that one of the girl's past boyfriends and biggest love of all was also his best friend?
Thank you for reading and taking time to answer!

Well, there's this girl... and... I love her.

We got to know each other last March, and in May she was already my girlfriend. But, after four months, her mother found out about our relationship and forced us to break up.

What to do.

But, my love for her was still strong, too bad she didn't felt the same. She goes around chasing some other guy, but yet I still try. I tried to do some stuff, who knows, maybe I could be better than the rest.

Tried to play the guitar till my fingers bled, wrote pages and pages of poems, travel hundreds of miles just for her.

But now.....I think I should face the fact that, she loves him more than me. Well, she doesn't love me now anyway. So I guess it's time I should just give up......

Well, I tried to still be friends with her, but it hurts me so much when I see her going around with some other guy, and me being ever the optimist my mind always seem to stray about plans on how to get her back.

Our relationship was great & the timing right. Now I’m resenting him for not doing it. I don’t want to pressure him by talking about it or blackmail him by breaking up. I’m pulling away, though, because I’m hurt & afraid I’ll take it out on him. He gave me a promise ring (sweet, but we’re in our 30’s…) but I only got a silly promise (e.g. “I promise I’ll always tickle you”). Nice, but I was hoping for a more serious one after (e.g. “Seriously, though, I promise when I get some things in order, I’ll give you a diff. kind of ring”). He also told me his ex is getting wed & he didn’t want to propose because it may seem like he’s competing. That's upset me so much that if he proposes, I’d want to get back at him by saying “it's a bad time for my ex because he still loves me & would be crushed”. I wouldn’t really say that, but that HE mentioned his ex & one of the most romantic events in our relationship in the same breathe…well, it’s basically ruined the “romantic” part for me. Suggestions?
