Well, 10 years ago I was only 11 years old and my husband would have only been 12 years old. He wasn't the best looking kid I've ever seen (he's gotten so much better with age), but I don't think I could really have an opinion of him as a spouse at that point.

My 20 yr old self would be disappointed. She would have hoped for someone more exotic and more athletic and less of a nerd. She wasn't ready to appreciate this man. She was selfish, mean, bossy, unsympathetic, and over sexed.
What a difference 2 years made. When I met my husband I was 22, and a changed woman. Frankly if we had met ten years ago, he would have screamed like a girl and ran the other direction.

I would have said duuuhhh, we have already been married for 2 yrs. We have been together 13 yrs. But I would still love to go back the 10 years when we didnt have so many responsibilities. I would have also warned him about the tramp in 2005 that would try to ruin our marriage and let him know ahead of time if he even looks her direction, I will pull a Lorenna Bobbit on his butt! That woudl have saved a lot of headaches!!!

Ten years ago I was very young and at that age I wouldn't know what to do. :) I understand your question, and your reason for it. It is a great one. Thing is though, we live in today and worrying about stuff in the past won't help us out today. Today we are (recently) married and very happy. If I think about the past I would just confuse myself when I should be focusing on the marriage now.
Again, it really is a great question. We just need to live in the NOW, not then.
Have a great night.

Probably wouldn't have believed you because he was just getting married to someone else 10 years ago. I wouldn't have been attracted to him either then, he looked like he was slapped hard by the 80's.

I would say that you were too late as ten years ago
she already was my spouse and 10years later she
still is my spouse, so you see my future has
already been read.

I'd say 'yeah, I know'. It just felt right. She moved in within a few weeks. It's been 23 years now (married for 4!).
Thanks. That made me smile!

I wasn't looking to be in a relatinship when I met him. So if you told me that, I would have said "yeah..right"

Well I would go ahead and give her all my money, and start building a house and have her go see it and make sure it's the way she likes it. Then I would beat you up and go ahead with my life married to her.
