This is the situation the best friend is always there to listen.
Including eveything about the girl's boyfriends. Can she end up falling in love with him? Ok he is great, but passionate love was experienced with someone else, love thoughts, tears, disappointments, etc. and the best friend was there to witness everytning. Why does he fall in love with the girl?
and If they end up having an affair can she forget her past love? Can they be really happy? Can he actually forget that one of the girl's past boyfriends and biggest love of all was also his best friend?

Persaonlly I do not trust men and women best friend relationships. I hate the idea that my partner has female friends - it simply pisses me off because somebody somewhere is going to have liked the other...either that or somebody is gay!

thats exactly it she already knows she can trust him and that he does listen yes she can end up falling for him(i did) because he knows everything she does and doesn't like and he might not be able to help it yes if she wanted to she could forget her past love and yes the can be happy i geuss he could if he wanted to any more ? b/c she really was his best friend & he ,hers. yes they can be happy until he realizes she slept w/ his best friend.... no morals... sorry .... On the other hand ...best friends do fall in love & can be happy if there r no secrets that involve hurting others....
