I met a wonderful nurse last month while visiting my dad in the hospital. She gave me her e-mail address and we have been exchanging e-mails for most of the month. When should I ask her for coffee?

Ok why is it that it seems happiness is always just barely out of my reach. I mean is there some driving force for everything that is that determines who will have everything they could possibly want and others have to struggle everyday of their life just to make some small niche for themselves? I ask this because it seems in all aspects of my life i feel im going nowhere. the harder i try it seems the worse i fail. relationships always elude me no matter how positive an attitude i try to have. it always blows up in my face. Ive heard you just have to wait for the right person to show up but why is it that some people find that person quickly while others wait sometimes their whole lifetime to find their someone and sometimes they never do. Are some people just not meant to have someone? Sometimes im told my standards should lower but i know what i want. why should i have to settle for less than what i know will make me happy? I know this sounds shallow but its the way i feel.

The man in question, I'd met on the net a few months ago. He's unhappily married (with very grown up children, who themselves have family) and I'm going through a separation. We've been emailing each other and phoning at a very frequent basis. I really love him and he feels the same way for me too. We are hoping to meet soon. What are your opinions? Why do people regard it wrong to date a married man?

I have just been told that my grand mother might not be around for my wedding in sept '08. i would really like to have all my grandparents there. should i sacrifice my wedding plans and go for something simpler, sooner just to have her there or continue on with my plans and pray she is still around? I am not very close with her but i would still like her there.

My son is 28 yrs. old and became involved with a girl that is 18 yrs. of age. I think they only knew one another for about a month before he invited her to move in with him. They appear to be very compatible and in love. That was about 3 months ago now. Should I have said anything? I think he's old enough to know what he is doing? Is it too late to give advice now? My parents only gave advice when it was asked for. What's the rule when the children are old enough?

I live in a college dorm and recently I moved in with someone else. My name is not listed under the new number so someone needs to know my roommate or me to know I have moved. I recently got a call from a girl who wanted me to fix her printer.

I figured it was just going to be a one time thing and she would leave me alone. No. She always calls at 11:30pm, when I'm sleeping or I have company over and expects me to drop what I am doing to come fix this damn printer. I have told her what it is she needs to do.

I can't even pick up my dorm phone in fear that she is going to be on the other line. So I figured I'd have my roommate answer it for me for a while but now I am getting calls from this girl on my CELL PHONE. Keep in mind, I don't know who she is, she never leaves a name or a number.

What do I do? I'm now saving all the messages she leaves me so that if I have to go to the police or the school security department I can. It's starting to become rather serious and she won't go away

June 2006: Move into an apartment with a girl I've been paired up with her by the apt. complex on individual leases in a two bed, two bath apt. I find out that my roommate is my age (23), going to be a HS teacher and also is a lesbian w/ a significant other. I thought that a HS teacher would be respectful of me and the fact that I'd have enough on my plate working 20 hours a week and working on my masters.

August 2006: My roommate's girlfriend, comes to college & is living in the dorm (as required by the univ. as an underclassman). The gf is given a copy of the key to our apt and moves the majority of her things in here. I think ok, so she's going to be over a lot and there isn't a lot of space in the dorm. At this point my roommate didn't indicate that her girlfriend would be LIVING here. So from Aug until Dec the gf lives with us. I insist in Oct that the electric bill is split 3 ways.
March 2007: I woke up one morning to find a guy I barely know in my home. The girls let him stay.

I was wearing cute new shoes today and asked my bf's opinion. He told me guys don't care about shoes, unless they are gay. I think a any kind of guy can easily tell if shoes are ugly or unflattering, therefore he can also tell if they are cute or good looking! I mean, whether or not its a big factor in whether a girl is attractive. You can not deny that you appreciate shoes!... Can you?

The thing is I'm a black guy and sometimes I just think white girls don't be hooking up with black guys. It is difficult for me sometimes to get a white girl number but much more easy for me to get a black or mexican girl number. Are white girls afraid what they parents say or how people look at them?

Or is it me? http://www.myspace.com/fun2bearound_1

Just curious, what are the chances of someone getting pregnant if they've been on the pill for about 8 months now, takes it very close to the same time every single day [sometimes like 30-1hr difference], has unprotected sex [never near her ovulation date, always at least a week before and at the end of her ovulation cycle] and the guy pulls out before [and gets it every time because he finishes himself off the last five seconds on his own to make sure he doesn't go inside her]?

Just looking for some info for a friend.

I know times are tuff now and maybe men cannot afford to take a lady out on a date. Is it ok for the lady to pay for part of the date. I would hate to think I owe him anything or he would expect something else in return. Maybe I would ofend him if I paid for part of the date, Is paying for some of the date expense telling him that it is only friendship and it is not going anywhere?

There is a guy who lives 20-25mins from me, I've known him for over a year now and he's been wanting to go out with me since like the day we started talking. I met him through Myspace and it turned out that he was (still is) friends with this girl who I'm friends with too and known for 10 years!!!

Anyways, lately he's been texting me wanting to meet him because he really likes me and wants to be with me but thing is, I'm nevous about meeting him and I keep putting it off.

Is it normal to feel nervous like that? I mean, I've met guys from online before in person, but he's different and I'm just really nervous to go meet him, I like him a lot but he's just different...

Could it be that he's telling me he likes me and wants to be with me BEFORE we even meet? I don't know, I'm so confused, I keep putting off meeting him and I feel bad, what should I do?

I don't want to hear because they are Sluts and nasty things like that. I mean such as, were they abused sexualy or somthing like that. Or because of the way they were raised and so on.

The last few times that I went to the gym to work out, there is a girl there that hits on me, and it's pretty obvious.

The thing is she's 20 and I'm 33.

She's nice, and she's one of the prettiest women I've seen in a long time. And I can tell she wants me to ask her out.

What do you think? Do you think age difference doesn't matter, and I should go ahead and ask her out anyway?

Thanks
