I am 26 yrs old and my hubby is 40 have been married 5.5 yrs now getting a divorce.I signed a pre-nup the day before we got married it was handed to me by his lawyer i signed it without reading it.This afternoon i will meet with my lawyer but was warned that fighting a pre-nup could take a long time year or more.He feels that since i do not at present have the means(a job) to fight the pre-nup that i should except the money the pre-nup entitles me too. The pre-nup states that i can keep any gifts from the marriage or personal belonging. Is my attorney taking the easy way out?

My bf (who I hope to marry one day), is previously married with 2 kids. He and his former wife had decided they wanted the kids to attend private school about 1 hour away. He told me that he would be willing to relocate or do whatever it took to get them there. This is a prior commitment he made with his x, and thats the way it will be when that time comes if there is no alternative. My problem with this is when we marry don't I get a say in life. Just because he made this prior commitment, shouldn't I still get a say? I mean career changes and private school are big expensive things. I think my opinion should matter, regardless of prior commitments, it will be my life too wont it? Am I totally wrong here, cause that's how he's making me out. He's basically saying we have to pack up and move and I get no say. What if I like my job and house and I don't want to. Is this unfair?

BF of 5 years proposed 2 weeks ago. Yesterday had an argument over the purchase of a house. I am ok with the purchase, but house needs work. I said that I would like to have put in the paperwork, that IF a divorce or seperation happened I would not take the house, nor be responsible for the mortgage.Yes in a way that is selfish on my part, but I thought it would be good for him, I mean, hes already had 2 divorces & lost everything except the clothes he was wearing. He got mad, told me now we aren't getting married. No big deal been together this long with out it anyway. Anyway, my question is, was I wrong to ask to have that stipulation put into the paperwork? And was it really worth ruining a whole day and half the night over? I would like to thank you in advance for the advise and please dont judge me for not being married, I have also been married & divorced.

We decided that Sunday would be a day of enjoyment for the both of us and then be on the ball the rest of the week. The only problem was, I could not get him away from the tv. Does this say something about our relationship? We did have some bedroom fun though. I really wanted to go out.

I am getting married shortly, and i asked my best friend to be the best man. He agreed and all and everything was good, but then a week later he calls and backs out. The reason he did this is because he's to cheap to rent a tux-even though im was going to pay for a plane ticket for him to come to the wedding (its in another state). I told him i would do this when i asked in the first place. This guy is a teacher, and i dont care what anyone says, teachers make alot of money so he can definetly afford it. I think he also might be jealous, but could i get some reactions as to what you think this?

My boyfriend and I have been together for nearly a year and a half. We are happy, we are in love, we enjoy being together, we don't want to do anything stupid to upset our relationship...

But I know that we won't last forever.

My question is, is it wrong to stay with someone you don't think you will spend the rest of your life with? Is the 'til death us do part' what we're meant to be looking for? Is the fact that I can't see us being for years and years a bad omen for our relationship in itself like friends keep telling me?

I don't trust my female friends when it comes to fixing me up with someone. Chances are she is going to be a hot mess with a 'good personality'. I'm ALOT shallower than that, I'm only interested in someone who looks hot. Is it polite to ask for a photograph before I consent to this fix-up?

I've been seeing this guy for a couple of months and for several reasons it's not been going very well. Then 2 weeks ago we had a huge argument over the phone and I told him I was going to finish with him. He phoned me the next night very late drunk out of his mind saying he was cutting himself and that he was going to slit his wrists if I finished with him as I'm the only good thing in his life. Stupidly I took him back. We haven't seen each other since but we were supposed to be meeting up a few days ago then at the last minute I had to change my plans. Again he phoned me the next night, drunk and said he was cutting himself as he thought I was rejecting him. I really really want to end this but I'd feel to blame if anything did happen to him. This guy is seriously scaring me. Please give me some advice I don't know what to do

OK, a girl wants a nice guy. He can't be too nice. He has to take charge. He can't be controlling. He has to listen. He has to ignore. He has to be there. He can't always be there. I'm trying to figure out how to be a well-rounded guy that will attract the right girl by not being too nice, yet someone who cares and not a jerk, someone she would know would be able to protect her, a listener yet not a listener. I don't even know what is is exactly I'm trying to do. I know not to be desperate, clingy, to be confident, and such. I want to be someone who can cause the girl to chase me for once.
I'm 17. I can't seem to find a good girl at my high school. Either that, or I don't know how to have a conflicting/complicated enough personality to attract her.
