My boyfriend has been really stressed out with his job situation, he didnt get his promotion and since then he has been quite down about his job. He;s looking for a new job but he has not been successful in getting any of hte jobs he applied for. He has been feeling really bad about it. Since then he has been really upset, feeling down and unhappy. I guess I did not give him the best support as I started to worry about our relationship, worrying he stopped loving me and caring for me. He kept saying me that he needs to sort his situation out but I was needy with him. He became quite upset with me after a while and he told me last weekend that it's for the best if we separate. He was very sorry but he said he could not continue. I was so upset and hurt, I was crying so much, he was upset and sad but he said that he is not happy with anything, he said he even cried at work the other day. I asked him if we could take some time apart so he can focus on himself rather than breaking up.

met a guy 3 years ago.We gelled & clicked right from the start we were like best friends as well as lovers while seein each other, discovered that he didnt want a serious relationship at that stage. During the space of time of us seeing each other he had messed me about with broken promises due to his inability 2 commit. So I gave him 1 last ultimatum of what he wanted and that I was going to start seeing someone else. He still said that we should be friends for now as it wouldnt be fair to me as he isn't in the frame of mind etc and that I deserve the best. He was still calling me after 2-3 months to keep in contact to see how I was doing, but I just cut off all contact. Fast forward to 3 years & we have got back into contact, he's 32 and I'm 26. I have just brought a new house & am doing well so is he. Now we hav started talking again he really wants something serious and I have said no & he is gutted & has asked again? Do I say no after he messed me about b4 & had his chance then?

I am a 33 year old mom of 2 wonderful girls. Here is the problem: Live at home with my mom, older sister, and a brother all whom think they are helping me with my girls but instead are trying to steal them from me. My mom got upset at me about a year ago as I got into a small yelling match with my older sister and decided to take my girls to my dads to cool off for the night, well my mom called childrens aid and they got involved because my mom was claiming that I was going to hurt my children which is total bullcrap. I have never done anything to hurt my children ever. Right now I have passed not one but two evaluations via a mental health profession both which state its not me but the enviroment I am currently living in as my mom controls everything. Childrens Aid wants to give me back full custody of my girls but my mom is fighting me for full custody. What to do right now cause I am so lost. Love my girls and want them. Just worried about how nasty this is going to get.

I have been with a man for 3 years.Not an on and off relationship, but a beautifully strong one. He is respectful, never harmed my feelings and wants to marry me.
My parents are on the fence.
They know and they love him, but they never seem happy with what he does in relation to work.
He never finished High School (he is from Lebanon and his father died when he was 15 and so he began working to support his family)
My parents know this but they keep telling me "Push him to taking computer classes so he can save up for marriage"
I dont want to push him to do anything and i know he works hard for me. He has two jobs and makes every minute count so we can have a beautiful loving relationship.
How can we both prove to my parents that he is responsible and maintains stability?
I love him people.This isnt some fling.We are both virgins who will wait forever for each other.
I need any repectable advice.

I have had STRONG feelings for him since last year but never bothered to propose him coz I knew he had no feelings for me. Will you or that person secretly be hoping that the other will "come around". What if both people are attracted to each other, but realize they're not a good "match"?

I had a female friend once who I confided in. 1st she gave me good advice on relationships. Then I noticed all her advice became "I don't think she's good for you","You should just break up w/her". Eventually she confessed she had a crush on me. All this after I initially tried to date her, then she convinced me I wasn't her type, plus she had a boyfriend! I felt somewhat flattered, but more betrayed because I felt she was purposely trying to sabotage my relationships.

What should I have done?

He died on the 7th of March and the people who murdered are still not caught by the police, Im in shock, I just dont find a way to get out of this.
We were about to get engaged....I have my family to take care of me but obviously my friends n family cannot feel the pain inside me...

c'mon, it just gets on my nerves, & it's stupid, why can't girls just move on with their life after they break-up?, cause you can't move on with your life if you bring up the past, it's funny & stupid how they call them their ex-boyfriend, cause in my opinion, it seems like this, once their boyfriend, always their boyfriend, a lot of times they just become friends with benefits after they break up.

I work at a casino as a cashier, and I have a friend who is a slot attendant. He says that almost all the slot attendants think I'm hot. I don't believe him. This rarely happens to me....at least that I know of. So, I started paying attention to what the slot attendants do when I'm around. They tend to get quiet. They don't talk to me. I catch a couple of them staring at me quite alot. But I'm not use to this, so I don't know what it means. My parents use to say that guys do weird things when they are attracted to a girl.....such as pick on them, or completely ignore them. Sooooo, is my friend messing with my head or do you think these slot attendants have the hots for me? Just curious......Its nice to know that someone finds me attractive cuz I don't hear that compliment too often.

My ex-girlfriend & I split up a month ago.We were under a lot of stress from other things,& she finished with me because of it. Now everything's fine. The other day,we went out for a drink,& spoke for nearly 4 hours! She said she feels guilty for finishing,doesn't want2get back together,yet does want to spend time with me...and just see where the friendship goes...then she says maybe i can come over and we watch a dvd/have lunch etc on friday..i've said yes. The thing is, I want more from her,& am confused as I dont think she does from me, although she wasnt really clear! What do I do, do I still go,& is it worth me saying/trying anything?

As the procedure was being performed while I was under the gas she used it like truth serum and found out some nasty things about me . So when I came to after the doctors and nurses were looking at me like I was a monster! Anyway she found out I had some affairs . I just think it was sneaky and humilitating how she did it! After having a loss of my friends life...because of the dangerous disease CANCER..
