Exercise is the best way. Find something you enjoy though so it is not a chore.

Also depends on what type of stress it is. Eg overload stress is when the stress is from too many demands put on us (or that we are taking on). This kind you need to reduce your demands.

If the stress is from work or family pressures then try to take time out for yourself, look after yourself and learn to say no sometimes!

Relaxation is very good too. A really easy relaxation which can be done at any time of the day you have the chance is this: lie down on bed on your back, take a deep breath in and release slowly while "letting go" of tension. Repeat. Then start working your way from your toes all the way up to your head visualising body parts, tensing them and then releasing and relaxing them. Eg think of your toes, scrunch them up and then relax, then your calf muscles, then your thighs etc etc.

Exercise and eating healthy. People tend to eat the junk or comfort foods when stressed. Don't allow your life to get to busy. What are you involved in that you really don't need to be right now. When you face a problem ask yourself, on a scale of 1-10, with one being no problem and 10 being the worst thing that ever happened to you, what number is this current problem? Most of the time you will give a number less than 5. This helps keep the problems in perspective. I wish you well.

Hey hun!!

Yes there is!!

Heres 5 things I find VERY efective!

1. Remove the clutter from your life! Clean up your room and get rid of anything you dont need or want. Get your priorties straight and try not to have a mind bigger than your bak balance. Having a good living enviroment, knowing what you want and what mettrs and not having money woes will all help BIG time!!

2. Do one thing at a time!! Dont set huge goals or overexpect yourself when you want to accomplish it in a short ammount of time. All goals are achieveable, you just gotta make realistic ones.

3.Eat well and excerisise!! Its true, some foods (Particuraly junk and caffiene) can make us feel very stressed. Eat lots of fruit, veggies, lean meat and fish and drink LOADS of water!BUT!! Dont overlook junk entirly, life can get boring without some of the good stuff, its amazing what chocolate can do!! LOL! Excersise is very important too coz it relases endorphins (the little chemical in our bodies that make sus feel happy), keeps you pyhsically fit and helps blow off steam. If you wanna take your mind off things, go for a walk, if your angry beat the crap out of a boxing bag, if your sad, run!! Its so hard to cry if you run, hehe!

4. Treat yourself right!! Take care of yourself!! Particuarly grooming and appearence (when you look good you feel good) and talking yourself up! Dont beat yourself up or put yourself down. Think of this everythime you go to critisise yourself unfairly "Would I say this to my best friend?" and if the answer is no, than dont say it to yourself coz you do have to be your own best friend. Also, and I knwo this maybe hard in this day and age, but get PLENTY of sleep! Everything is always worse when you are tierd!!

5. Treat yourself!!! If you want a new pair of shoes and can afford them, go get them!!! You really feel like a second helping of dessert, eat up! Treating yourself well will raise your self esteem sky high. You know that warm, wonderful feeling when someone else treats us special? Well, give it to yourself also!

6. If you have some issues that you cannot resolve on your own, DONT be afriad to get help. Whether its a family memeber, friend, adult you trust or a professinal, sorting out the problems that get you down will lift a huge weight off your shoulders.

Hit the gyms and exercise, studies have shown that people that are under stress and exercise completely removes them from stress, also, play some video games it entertains your mind.

i recommend reading a good book, or typing up a story on what happened during your day that made you stressed, but how you would have handled it, like:
My boss came up to me and told me I had to look over and edit 30 files with 100 pages in them each. I had to be finished by Friday and it was Wednesday. I just looked down and started looking over the files.
Now how I would've handled it:

Try yoga classes, get a massage, or go to the beach. All 3 really works.
