It depends on what kind of problems. U can't group all problems the same.
For some problems I would approach a friend of the opposite sex, some with parents, some with siblings.
For relationship problems, I usually approach my gal friends who are married.... =)

If it is very important, your mother or father, whichever is closest to you. If the problem is not a major problem, your friends are usually more understanding.

its not who is the best. Its the person with whom you would like to share your feelings.

Most of the time, its your friends whom you like to share your problems most of the time. friends can be anyone (mother, father, sister,...)

Generally, mom's are the most caring, knowledgeable to handle problems. While dads ( and I'm one of them) would like to help, we're just not as effective....
