If you could go back to one point in your life and change something you did wrong would you(not knowing if it might change everything good that has happened to you since then)?

"not knowing..."

So if your present were erased(from memory) if you changed your mind/fixed your mistake in the past and you go to another parallel universe, and had no recollection of your current situation(before you made the change).

Sure, yes...

But if you're left with the memories of the present and you make that change and the time line doesn't pan out to the way it was(less the mistake),

I wouldn't chance it. Maybe by fixing that 1 mistake you create 10 new ones.

Yes, I was just thinking about this this morning 9 years ago. I was recently divorced there were two guys in my life. I picked one over the other. That was the wrong choice. We dated for about four years. He never could make a commitment. I broke up with him and moved on. I have since married but wonder how things would have been different if I would have chose the other man.

There are prolly a million things I could go back and change, but everything that I would pick has led to something great right now.

So I dont know. I like my life now, and all the things I would change wouldnt have me such a strong relationship and beautiful family :)

In my mind I would. A million things I could change or think about what if I did differently but in all reality I like me and the mistakes I make...they obviously have to be a reason for them. I think as much as I might of said something to someone differently or met someone new or left someone earlier than I wouldn't be where I am today...

As world said I too have learned from my mistakes, but most importantly, everything I have done in my life, good and bad, have led me to where I am now. I have found love, peace and Sanctity. If I had changed one moment of my life, I would be somewhere else entirely, and who knows where that may be.

I would go to the year I was in Grade 6.

I would tell and ensure myself that the girl I am in love with (back then I did not even care about her) is the one that I will ever love for the rest of my life.

It will change my love story then.

Yes. I would sign the enlistment papers and joined the Navy back in 1974. My test scores were all 97-99% and I had guaranteed job and location in writing - I let my Father's trash talk about women in the service persuade me not to go.

Yes, I would change the fact that I ever divorced my ex-husband. I wish I would have let him stay...like he wanted. Like I really wanted but was ashamed of what our marriage had become...so I let go of him! It's been six years since I have seen my soulmate...he is my soulmate...I dream about him at least twice a week and have since the divorce. I miss him and want him back.

Absolutely. Id give anything to reverse the mistake I made.
The consequences of my mistake have only recently become apparent. The mistake was over 30 years ago. Ive paid the price dearly. It almost cost me my relationship of 34 years and I lost my best friend as well.

Since we cannot go back in life, there's no point in contemplating that. We can only go forward, which is what we should concentrate on, using our past experiences to motivate us.
