My friend confides in me (or vents to me) about the many things that make him unhappy with his spouse. Nothing dangerous or major just A LOT of small things (doesn't put any effort in, doesn't enjoy any of his hobbies, etc). And I just don't know how to respond. If he doesn't want to change his situation, and she doesn't want to change (according to him), what solutions can I possibly offer? Do I just listen? Is that all??

I am one year out of college. My girlfriend and I have been together for about a year now, and we live about 100 miles apart in different cities. The long distance thing was working for a while, but recently with her own personal depression/body image issues, our relationship has been strained and our sex life/intimacy has been suffering a little bit too. Also, to add fuel to the fire, I live with two other single guys in their early twenties and we are out every weekend drinking at clubs and bars. Anyway, long story short I ended up hooking up with a friend and waking up at their place, not really sure what happened, but we definitely were hooking up. I feel pretty guilty, but I also feel that I almost should get it out of my system now before we get serious later in life. I know its not fair to her, but if we took a break and were single I think it would break her heart. I keep rationalizing it that what she doesn't know won't hurt her? Is there some truth to this? What should I do?

My ex broke up with me.He said that he wasnt ready to be in a relationship. I thought he wasnt either. I was okay with the break up then b/c i rather be alone than with bad company. Im going crazy now i dont know what to do I think ive dated more than 3 guys this week as a way of distraction but all thats doing is making things worse. I met this guy and we went out on 2 dates. Our first date went really well, we both had so much fun. During the week we either texted each other or talked on the phone. We met for the second time last Saturday. I never got the impression that he is not interested. We didn't kiss, but there were occasional touches, hands, shoulder... (not for long though). We spent almost 8 hours together on Saturday withought even realizing what the time was. He even said "wow, it's already 7! that's a pretty good indication". it's Monday now, he didn call me on Sunday, I sent him an email and thanked him for the day, no replies, he usually gets back to me as soon as he gets the message or email, I really like this guy and now I'm confused. what just happened???:(

Well, I dated my boyfriend, Brian, for 1 year and 4 months, then he dumped me because he said that he was sick of me and hated time with me, he also said he loved me, but wasn't in love with me. Then, we agreed on a break, and Brian told me we were allowed to date other people. So, I told this guy I've known for about 4 years that I like him, and he said he liked me. So, we are quasi dating right now. When Brian found out, he almost cried and said that he didn't know it would hurt so bad and would do anything to get me back. I love Brian with all my heart, but he broke my heart and now wants to go back on everything he said. I really want to give patrick a try. being passive aggressive or found a glitch in our marriage to avoid me? He's going this weekend to a gaming dinner (where they serve fresh hunted meat).

I find these extremely repulsive. He went about a month ago, and after it, he spent the weekend in the guest room.

The first time, his friend invited him last minute ... past 2 times, he went out of his way searching for one and is driving 2 hours away to go to it.

Last time, I requested that we do not go near each other for a couple of days until all the "meat" has been processed throughout his system.

I mean, I can't imagine kissing him after that, or being nearby when any bodily functions erupt ... I had him to use the guest bedroom and bathroom too.

I am a vegetarian, AND DON'T MIND WHEN HE EATS REGULAR MEAT, but it's this "game" meat that really truly grosses me out about this situation.

I gave him no problem about going last time, and he honored my request above, so is he trying to avoid me for a weekend again?

Here is the situation, I met this guy few weeks ago,we have an instant connection.we chat for hours almost everyday.exchange text messages but suddenly he stopped communicating with me. I dont remember doing or saying bad things to him.Im just curious...

We both live together and having been spending all the time together but recently arguing all the time, driving us mad. She wants us to spend less time together and lead our own lifes as well. She's spending more and more time with her friends and not inviting me out anymore.

I understand what she is saying and agree but just finding it hard!!

I was going out with this guy for a year but he ended up getting hooked on drugs and doing so many stupid things because of it lying and stealing being the main two. Anyways I was dumb and had stuck by him hoping to help him and well that didnt work and my feelings more than changed. I during the past year left him many times and got back together with him after he begged me and saying he would change. Now its really over and I to be honest cant stomach to even look at him with all he put me through. Im completely inlove with someone else now and never want to be with him again but its not sinking into him
