I have often heard of this, and just wanted to know what others thought. I don't like this term and would not participate in such activity!

I don't mean to be sexist but, when two people get divorced, why does the woman almost always get the house, kids, and car? And half of the man's money? now if she earned some of all this i don't have a problem but usually the women don't have a job, leaving the man to do all the work, and then they get half of the money when they leave.

my husband was never married to his 3 year old's mother, and is in a custody battle right now. He has to provide his tax returns to his son's mother - what rights do I have as a step-parent to not disclose any information that is MY personal information? My income, our joint property tax and mortgage interest amounts, etc? I thought privacy laws protect, and I don't want his ex-girlfriend (son's mother) having any of my personal information. There was no previous marriage, thus no divorce - custody and child support issues are the only legal battle we have.

ok so hears the deal. My good friend has two lil boys from a previous boyfriend and now she is married to a soldier and just had her third child. ok hes overseas fighting the war and shes here with the kids but while she recently met up with this other guy but while she was still pregnant she was having sex with this guy, he even rode in ambulance with her when she went into labor. and she continues to talk to him, her husband got leave to come home and see the baby and then he went back. now that he went back she went right back to that dude, and her husband has no idea. is this not wrong? cuz none of the other girls think its wrong but i do.

its kind of a personal question but....my mom and dad are fighting a little and when they do my dad will swear maybe calling my mom a name. and when this happens my mom is mad because I don't say anything. Okay, so my ex thinks we should try to make things work between us. We both love each other very much. We have been apart for a year, and dated other people, but we both feel that we will never meet anyone that we love as much as we love each other. The problem is, we are bad for each other. We go together like peanut butter and spaghetti. We are what happens when you hold a stick of dynamite to a lighter....KABOOM!!!! But, we love each other, and we want to try to make it work. I recently got married and moved in with my husband. We have one home computer, I checked the history of web sites that have been searched and my husband is watching girls in youtube videos and looking at some inappropriate photos of woman. She married at 19 and is now 27.....she has 3 children.....he is both verbally and physically abusive.....both in front of the children.....she has left him several times.....has called the cops...but his family has a "big name" in the community so they convince her to go back....her mother -n- law told her that God says you are to do whatever your husband wants....I've said everything that could be said to her.....she has the classic battered wife answers...."I shouldn't have said that to him"...or "I did this to provoke it".......I've told her that NOTHING she could say or do justifies being beaten......I worry about the children....she is an educated woman...why wont she leave him?

Has anyone ever been denied maintenance? I have a grounds trial in two weeks that will help decide what the maintenance should be. He does not want to give me any money at all since I don't want to be married anymore. It will be 26 years this year. The grounds are cruel and inhuman treatment....(mental abuse).

I have been with my fiance for about 2 years now and we have a 3 month old son together. When we got together I weighed about 125 or so and now after I've had our son I weigh about 140. So I've put on some weight!! But recently he's been picking around and joking about my weight( Like I'm not already sooo self-concious about my body anyways from the stretch marks and extra fat I'm carrying around) But the joking and hurting my feelings is getting so bad I am just at the point where I want to leave him!! tomorrow night im going out with my sister and a few friends to a gig to see a band that is playing (if anyone understands it an all ages 'way-ou-west' gig) . Firstly these friends are my sisters friends and a few people who will be in my year at my new school next year. Fundementally im quite shy, how can i be myself and not be mute and thought of as boring? And secondly what should i expect? dancing or moshpitting and will alcohol be provided since people under 18 will be there and if i do drink what is a normal drink for a girl? vodka & coke? beer (or is that too manly) ? or something non-alcoholic? (im 16, but i have drunk before and my friends do but im not sure if i will be expected to or if people under 18 will at an 'all ages' event!)
Please could anyone help me and explain to me what might happen at this gig and what to do and how to act please! i really want to make a good impression with the people im going to be going to school with next year.
any help would be great! :-)

I've known this girl for about a year now. And I asked her if she liked me more than a friend and she said "I don't know its hard, I like you as a friend though", We are just friends, but do you think there is any chance of us being boyfriend/girlfriend, or am I just wasting my time hoping? Assuming you're a guy who's wanting to ask a girl out for a one-nighter, do you just go straight ahead and say "Hi" and pop the question?

So, don't you have to act like a gentleman, complement her well enough to make her feel special & make her think you are special too & then make her believe why you really want her, etc.?

I'm just asking because I'm from a different culture & am curious as to how it works here.
