Assuming you're a guy who's wanting to ask a girl out for a one-nighter, do you just go straight ahead and say "Hi" and pop the question?
So, don't you have to act like a gentleman, complement her well enough to make her feel special & make her think you are special too & then make her believe why you really want her, etc.?
I'm just asking because I'm from a different culture & am curious as to how it works here.

Haha, not really any specific way. But if I think back, the way I remember it is usually it's someone you meet at a party or bar or social or whatever. Usually there has been a fair amount of drinking involved beforehand. Sometimes people come right out and ask straight up "Can I bring you home tonight?" or "You wanna come see my car?" something to that affect. Other times it starts of a little more slowly with talking, then dancing, then some more until finally somehow, you've ended up in their bed or in a bathroom or the car. Anyways, it's always different I think depending on the level of drunkness, sometimes woman do the asking sometimes me. Then the end result is usually the same, you say bye and don't see then again. One important thing though, if you're going to do it, use condoms because there are some nasty people out there.

All girls want to be feel special, even if it was only once.
Though if you only want to have a one night stand, you should not give her the impression that you will want to pursue her for more than one night.
But in the same time, you also should not give her the impression that you will only go with her for one night.
Your intention on her is one night stand only only, but that doesn't mean you won't have with her multiple one night stands or even a long relationship.
As for asking a straight ahead toward girl if she want to do a one night stand.
Well, you ask her only if she already got the chance to know you. If you ask her before she get to know you, it's a guarantee that she will not go out with you, and even if she will go out with you, it's a sign that she's a big trouble.
How long it takes for her to get to know you? It depends on the girl, if she's outgoing, it probably will only take around 30 minutes. If she's 'shy', then it probably will take around 2 hours at the maximum.

Girl perspecitve---If a guy told me that he wanted a 1 nighter, I would walk away. If he acted like a gentleman and I slept with him on the first time out, I would expect to call it a 1 night stand and not see him again. I would run if a guy asked me. It would just take the anticipation out of it!

Probably go with with the second concpet you mentioned. Try to make them feel that you want more than just a one night even though you dont. Thats usually the last resort i'll pull out because they dont seem to like that very much

Well you just party with her and at the end of the night you will know if she is sticking her tounge in your mouth that you may have a chance. You ask if she would like to go to your house and then the next day, you take her to her car (if she didnt drive) and thats it. You dont call her again.

I am not a guy but I will say get straight to the point. I mean you can make some small talk but trying to convince her that your intentions are different will be wrong. She may even be into one night stands like you.Never know unless you ask.

1. Look the prospective sex partner over from foot to head, and back to foot.

its all in the bod language
you can tell from gestures if she likes you (like hair twiddling and so on)
sometimes u dont need to ask if she likes you its just obvious
