I had never met my father and at the age of 38, I found him after about 60 minutes of gathering data and hitting one of the online people finder websites.

Since you were his spouse, you probably know his birthday, where he was born, etc, and can use that information to find him today.

In increasing order of $$.

1. Google & Yahoo "People Search"
2. Those websites where you pay like 50 bux and search any and all ''Public Records''

3. Private Investigator. If the father does not WANT to be found, numbers 1 and 2 will be pointless, and you'll need to hire an investigator anyway. Please be a good mother, and find this guy. I was / am in a similar situation as your son. He needs to know his father.
