I found this for less than 200 euros? Whats the catch or is it worth the money?

My computer is getting slower everyday and it hangs almost all the time..The screen would just turn black... And after restarting, it would always say, "Windows has recovered from a serious error." Please help me resolve this problem. I've had this computer for almost 2 yrs already. What could be wrong??

MY CPU makes sounds too... What could be causing this sound? And how do i get rid of it? Please help you guys...thnx

does it have a volume? if not how does it fill a memory chip? how does memory chips hold data? what EXACTLY is data? Is it electirc currents? is it a bunch of numbers that make a code?

I am using AMD Athlon 2200+, 1.8Ghz, 40GB HDD, 128MB RAM. my doubts is.. i want to upgrade my RAM to 512 or 1GB. how do i know that my motherboard can support higher versions of RAM. please dont tell, ask your vendor.... can i find it out of myself???

I was in the middle of wiping my hard drive with freeware i'd download, but my computer was so slow/infected, that it 'crashed' midway through the uninstallation of windows me, and now im stuck, all that comes up now when it boots up is a black screen...any advice at all would be awesome!
Cheers.

Btw, any other options of booting an O.S, cause an i.t dude installed windows me, but never gave us the disc...

i cleaned it out, but it stll feels slow and erratic. would it hurt it to lubricate inside with WD40? is there any other product specifically for this?

my computer did come up but nothing would be opened and i got errors all over the place. so dell chaneg my hard drive and my computer is just fine now. but i had a lot of important things on the drive such as pictures and important documents. i bought a enclosure and put the busted hard drive in it but it did not open any files. SO IF THE HARD DRIVE IS BUSTED & NOT WORKING IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THE DATA RECOVERED? WHERE? HOW MUCH? HOW

celerom
40 gb harddrive
16 MB video card
avast instaled
the problem is the machine it takes too long to process takes more than 30 seconds processing
if i open more than 2 programs in same time it takes more longer that i can prepare a cafe while waiting

I am trying to hook up my sisters compaq notebook to an older television. I understand the concept of what needs to happen.

I cand figure out how to tell if we have the correct video card.

There is both an rca and vga spot on the side of the notebook... What would you suggest I buy?

I have access to a s-cable converter to make it work on an old tv. Any other advice would be appreciated!!

I was wondering if anyone new how to get a western digital hard drive model # WD800JD to show up during windows xp installation? The drive is working i can install windows vista, and linux on it and it shows up in the bios. When i boot up the installation disk and hit enter to continue to the part where you select the device to install windows on, it says that there in no drive installed and tells me to reboot. Again this is a Western Digital model # WD800JD SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive.

I have this hard drive that I had on a computer with windows 98. My computer is not working anymore so I bought a hard drive enclosure to get the files from this hard drive but my xp can not even read it. I connected it to the usb as an external drive but it does not even show on my computer. The other hard drives I have work perfectly with the enclosure. I don't want to lose the files I have on this hd.. I right clicked on my computer, went to manage and to disk management and I see the hard drive in my computer (C) I also see a flash memory (L) and I see the hard drive I have these important files on, but it does not have a drive letter, but it says HEALTHY (ACTIVE) just like the other ones. I does not give me an option to open it or nothing else just to format, but this is something I don't want to do.. Can somebody please help.

Right now I am about to upgrade my computer right now here's how it is:

amd athlon xp 2000+
512 (256 x2) mb memory
nvidia geforce 4 mx420 64mb graphics card
nFORCE MICRO-STAR MS-6373 motherboard

what kind of slot do i use for upgrading my processor? i was wanting to use an athalon 64FX dual core is this possible?
i plan on removing both 256 memory cards and replacing them with 1gb cards for 2gb of ram. Then i want to upgrade my card to something that can play the most demanding games... any help? thanks

When I burn a DVD (using Nero) it freezes at 3% burning at 16x or 12x for nearly two minutes before proceeding; which then goes at normal speed without freezing. What could be the problem?

I just asked a question about this a few hours ago and since then, I have done a backup of all my personal files. My question was about my hard drive space and if I was putting too much on my hard drive. The answers I received was "you have plenty". Well, since then.. my amount of free space has dropped. My Recovery D Drive was 10% free and now's it 0% free, my C drive was 70% free and now it's 60% free and my E drive (new volume) was 100% free and now it's 90% free. Is there something that happens to my system when I backup files? I backed up all my files onto DVD+R discs. I should also mention that up to about 3 hours ago, I didn't even know how to do a backup :o

I don't know much about this stuff, could someone explain it to me? I just hope I'm not already running out of space on a 500GB hard drive. The computer is brand new.

and i wanted my files to be recovered. the problem with my computer that they told me will be solved by changin the hard drive was that i couldnt open anything eventhough the windows came up. so they changed my hard drive and my computer is fine so what i did was i bought a HARD DRIVE ENCLOSURE and tried to use it wiht my old hd. it does not open it as a secondary hard drive and a message "error performing inpage operation" comes up. is it possible at all to get the files recovered or not???

I'm trying to play my new game, but everytime I enter the CD it says, "Please insert a CD".

I'm still able to burn music onto blank CD's, but my game isn't working. My computer is compatible with the game, so that's not the problem. But the CD won't even show up on "My Computer". Please help me, I just won't to enjoy "The Sims Life Stories".

Whenever I try to record me saying something with my mic, it works, but in bad quality. And I bought my new one for 40 bucks.
But then I unplugged it, and the computer picked up my voice, so im guessing that's why it sounds so low-quality. Anyway to fix that? The computer picking up your voice by itself, without the mic?

I have an ATI all in wonder 8500 right now (128MB). I have been looking to upgrade and trying to understand what I need is difficult.
I usually play games, Iike to watch and record TV on my computer and I sometimes play videos from my computer to my tv. I was wondering if some one could suggest me a video card with all these capabilities. I'd prefer to have about 256 MB of ram. Thanks for you help!
