my cpu vcore 12v voltage has a voltage of 0.26.whats wrong.why is it so low.how can i fix it.need help quick

I bought an ATI Radeon x300 graphics card and it does not fit in the graphics slot. The card i boughtt is a PCIE (i think) and when i check my PCs Device name it says SiS 651C. Have i bough the wrong card and if so can anyone tell me what i should be looking for it would be a great help as i have been dying to play this game for a while. Thanx all

Hi, in windows, if you hit WIN-R on your keyboard you'll open up the "run box" found in START>RUN.

Is it possible to change system settings to allow this to happen when a different set of keys are hit (e.g. if I double-click the ALT key)?

As another example, google-desktop will pop up a search bar if I double-click on the CTRL key, but I don't know how this feature is set.

I had win 2000 about a year ago i had someone work on my computer and they upgraded me to XP....yah .... Well it was not Guenine, i did not know what they did i was just happy with all the new stuff, come to find out i had to have win 2000 reinstalled in my computer so i took it to a guy here in Aransas Pass and he charged me 210.00 and 3 times in there because i could not get anything to work, (DRIVERS) now i know,(and the guy who reinstalled wins. would not tell me what the problem was. He wanted me to keep commong back So He Could Charge Me. ) Please help me i cant afford to take my old laptop back for service or help or anything at this point..

I know I asked this question earlier but am looking for some fresh answers since the others did not work. The wheel on my mouse (the one you use to scroll up and down a page) is not working. I have tried previous suggestions such as cleaning it and going to control panel>mouse options, but there is no option of activating/deactivating the wheel. Any other suggestions as to why it is not working?? It was working fine yesterday, and I don't think the mouse is broken!!

My PC crashes regularly when pushed with 3D, the gfx card is brand new and has the latest drivers. (tried official his driver, and ati x1950 driver)
It cannot complete 'Video Card Stability Test' without rebooting. The faq for that recommended checking power supply and cpu temp.
The 550w PSU is new, but a cheap £20 one, maybe too unstable a supply? (sumvision/sumevision?)
CPU temp is 45-50°C idle, is this a little hot?

Tried running the stability test offline with no other programs running, yet it still crashes.

I just got old 64bit Dell PERC2/QC 4 channel Adaptec AAC-364 RAID card for my old computer. My motherboard is intel L440GX dual PIII board which has one 64 bit PCI slot. But I realize that raid card doesnt fit 64bit slot. gap between 32bit PCI pins section and extended pins section is 2mm smaller than board slot has. Normal 32bit section fits well. If I put in a 32bit PCI slot card works well. But I want to use as 64bit. How many different type 64bit PCI exist and also are PCIExpress slots different than old 64bit PCI slots ?

Open the Registry on the offending computer and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E980-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.

Delete any values with the name UpperFilters or LowerFilters within this key.

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}. (This is within the same general area of the Registry, but note the slightly different CLSID.)

Also delete any values with the name UpperFilters or LowerFilters within this key.

Reboot the computer.

i would like to know first
is motherboard's specification really important in overall system's performance.

2 GB DDR2 667
19" Wide screen TFT
250 GB Sata
sony writer etc
as i dont want to use SLI or i dont want to over clock at all.
i am thinking to buy basic series board which is
intel D945GCL which supports everything.
should i consider this and will this board minimize my computer's performance ?

I'm converting a ton of video. I've estimated it will take 24 hours to do it. I have a custom built (and I'm only 13!!) Core 2 Duo e6600 oc'd at 2800 MHZ, full load at 63C and 65C.

Will it be safe? I'm using TAT for my temps, and SpeedFan says the same. I've used the throttle on TAT to lower it to 2412 MHZ. Ambient is 30 C, case is 35 C. Several case fans, but running stock cooler.

Tomorrow I'm gonna apply new thermal paste. Other specs: 2GB RAM, Nvidia 7600GT, Asus P5B Deluxe, 250GB Seagate HDD. Thanks for all the answers!

Having had looked at some of the other questions around here, I know what the answer most would think is to my question (i.e. Binary to Metric conversion) but bear with me:

I am being told now by my XPSP2 laptop that my 232GB External Hard Drive has no free space left to copy into. Yet it also detects nearly 100GB free, and there is 132GB of space currently being used. Surely this can't be put down to just partition tables. What's going on? What can I do to fix this?

I opened up my mouse, and im currently using it without the top, because the left click on the mouse is only working about 1 in every 50 or so clicks with the shell on it.
Is there a way I can make the click work again with the shell on or do I simply have to buy a new mouse?

My hard disk constantly spins, and makes very loud annoying sound. I traced the problem to Limewire. Turned off the uploads. Still hard disk kept on spinning. FInally, had to shut Limewire down. The problem has started only recently. Earlier, I was using Limewire without any problems. Please help me use Liewire peacefully again.

I'm not talking about replacing a hard drive because you ran out of space, I'm talking about how long someone's been able to keep it without it failing.
I guess if you have an expensive one, it's gonna last longer, but I just want to have a general idea about the maximum lifespan of a hard disk drive. Then if my drive fails I won't feel bad if I know I got the most use out of it.

I am just not sure because I heard about different Voltage ratings, the exact PSU model is ULTRA-QUIET PSU: SILENCER® 750 QUAD from PC Power & Cooling. You can't buy them in the UK so I am thinking of getting it from the USA.
