I updated my pc to windows vista and the speakers don't work, not even head phones... it says "no audio output device is installed"
But the microphone works fine...

Could someone help me!!

Just had the same exact problem. It's the drivers. Go to your device manager and check for any errors. If there is, then click update drivers. If that doesn't work, then go directly to the site of your sound card manufacturer and download the newer driver. However, some of them don't have drivers compatible with Vista.

You have the wrong drivers. Find out the model of your sound card and get the drivers to match from manufacturer's website.

windows vista has known issues with older equipment...the program stinks..you should stay away from it..its badly in need of improvements ....microsoft rushed it. expect problems...try the update sight to see if they have drivers.
