This has an AMD 850mhz processor, and 128 mb (100mhz) of RAM. This puppy is SLOW! I have Comcast internet, but it still needs a turbo charge. Would it be worth upgrading the RAM on this? I'm looking towards a new computer, but not in the budget until the fall. Please help! Also, don't want to spend too much money. Thx!

Removing the fan is easy enough, but I'd like to remove the heat sink if at all possible.

I think this is better than risking over clocking. I have seen 5600 used only with AM2 socket, but my motherboard is 939 socket. Suggestions/comments

I have a desktop PC which is about 4 years old. A few days ago we had a blackout that happened just as my computer was shutting down. The computer worked fine until yesterday when without warning it switched itself off. Now the computer doesn't start up at all, even though power is getting to the motherboard (the green light is on). I suspect that this might be an issue with the computer's power supply but I need to know for sure that the motherboard isn't the problem as this would be a more expensive problem to fix.

(gonna build a pc) is it worth for me to over clock my video card cpu, etc.
I am most likely not gonna keep my comp for more than 10 yrs., I have pretty nice cooling, and I could save money. So I though well I got a whole bunch of time to waste, so heck, why not?
I am heading to overclock a e6400 cpu, and an 8800gts gpu, (mobo and ram compatible with oc too)
do it or buy e6600 and a higher speed 8800gts
???
