is there anyway i can get my taskbar back i didn't auto hide or hide anything on taskbar it just disappear i have to use task manager to run the programs so plz help thank you!

Have you tried clicking on Start, Settings, Taskbar and Start Menu. That may give you some clue of what is going on and enable you to get it back.

This is a common problem with Vista but an easy fix. You already know how to find it to check the Volume Box so I will skip that part. Just do a restart and go back in. It should not be grayed out anymore. Check the Volume Box, Then click Apply and OK. You might find that Icon or others in the Notification Area disappearing again from time to time. Like I said a common problem with Vista but an easy fix. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Yes, but you may have accidentally dragged it out of sight or reduced it. Use your Start key to get to the Control Panel and choose Start Menu and Taskbars.

i think you just made it very small and accidentaly locked it. why dont you try that "windows" button in your keyboard? ^_^
