i have the same configuration, one this i would advise u to do is,

if u have an integrated vdeo card, then get urself a new PCi_E video card and see this thing fly. I bought Nvidia 7600GT for around $70, woth every penny of it. Dont add 2 more gig, one more should be more than enuf, but definitely get the new videocard. Also must tell u, that the newere video card all require atleats 500 Watt power supply, so check what wattage is ur PS, most likely u have 300-350 watt. FYI i did change my PS at the same time i got the new video card. U will see a huge difference in the performance with a newer card .. Good Luck

I use a 4400+ X2. If you want to get the most out of dual core processing, give it 2 gig of ram. They perform very well if you tweak windows correctly.

that should run very well as long as you keep it away from spyware and viruses

im jealous!

you could always use more ram tho..im running 1.5 gigs of it with a regular P4 processor with hyper-threading.

and i have a radeon x1600 pro 512 mb graphic card..

no complaints here!

that should be a very nice processor tho...with vista im assuming?

a big tip tho...in a couple months, clean the inside of your computer and let all the dust out...im tellin ya, it will make your computer run quieter and smoother since computers tend to slow down because they overheat...

i clean mine every month now..its disgusting..my comp is a dust MAGNET! :P
