new HDD,ECS RC410l/800-MGF motherboard with buldt in ATI 200 series Video. 2GB of Ram. Windows Vista Upgrade Adivsor says ok on my XP HDD. Do I need a new Video Card in order to load Vista?

if you get an error when installing it's a hardware compatability issue, find the compatability list, if your equip isn't on it...get some that is...

You need to take this problem to Microsoft, not here,

how do you expect Microsoft to solve problems if you don't tell them about your problem'(s)

you have bought Vista so it is up to microsoft to fix your problem'(s)

by the way send that coded message to MS they will tell you what it means

i'm guessing you've got the "blue screen of death" (hopefully not).
bcoz if you have, last resort is to reformat.
try to turn-off your PC, wait for about 5mins before turning it back on and hopefully you wont get the same problem

yes vista is a pian in the *** i hope u have recovery disk cuz thats the option i had to resort to when i got that
