Throw away your 128 RAM!
it's probably slowing down your 512 speed too.
I would kill the 128 ram, get another 512 ram that would match your current one. (make sure you know the pin# and if it's a pc2100..pc4000...etc)

I believe with $100 you can even look into getting a 1gb RAM.

You also might want to look into getting a second harddrive. these days a 500gb harddrive goes low as $100. You'll want to search for all kinds of special offers, but in general a 500gb would be around $120-$250.

So with your budget you can easily can get aditional 512 RAM, and a 300~400 GB Harddrive.

More memory - you can never have to much
Increase the hard drive - again never too much. Consider going with an external USB unit so you can move to between multiple computers if desired.
If you do not have a DVD burner, consider that also.
If you do not have a couple USB flash drives, consider those. You will wonder how you ever lived without one.
Not much you can do about process and all unless you replace the system board (which is hard for $200)

Add a second HDD, a 250GB or larger to give yourself plenty of storage. Memory is also a good upgrade, ditch the 128Mb and get another 512Mb to match the other. Flash/Thumb drives are about $30 for a 4GB drive at tigerdirect.com. If you don't have a DVD-RW install one of those too. They cost about $40.

well it depends what youre going for. i would definitely suggest another 512 stick of ram to help your natural lag. perhaps a larger hd with a faster rpm (7200+) unless youre happy with the space you have right now. and other than that, you should be fine. if you need graphics, go geforce.

Your processor is somewhat previous and desires to get replaced. you may somewhat get C2D E7500 yet this on my own costs one hundred$ so dont have any money left for a stable pictures card. So spend yet another one hundred$ for a stable pictures card like HD 6670 1GB DDR5 and improve RAM to 4GB. Thats all you may desire to make ur pc swifter and play all modern-day video games. Else you may get twin E5800 for 60$ and the HD 6670 1GB DDR5 for one hundred$. this could be a stable improve for ur funds. purely upload yet another 2GB stick of RAM later.
