I have a Mazda MX6 LX '92 non-turbo. The tie-rods are knocking due to the fact that I did not grease them the last time I replaced them (outers of course.) I don't want to do it myself and mess it up again, and need a good quote. Assuming the inner and outer of both sides need to be replaced, what is a good price with labor, alignment and parts?

I tried to use touch up paint to fix scraches on my car and now it looks even worse. The colors do not match well and it stands ourt worst than the orginal scratches. Is it possible for a paint and body shop to remove the paint and maybe try to buff or fix the scratches? Thanks

It;s not the fuel pump or filter. It has good spark. Its not restricted exhaust. Sometimes it will idle. It only brings up code 131. The repair shops and the muffler shops all say bad converters. I disconnected the exhaust with the same results. I'm baffled.

I have a 1988 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4X4. The oil filter is located on the fender on the driver' s side. There are two oil lines running from the engine to the filter. Where the oil filter would normally be is an adapter. Either it is leaking or the oil lines themselves are leaking. It is hard to see the oil lines except right near the adapter. The lines run under the exhaust manifold. Anybody have experience with this sort of leak. Some have told me there is a O-ring ther that leaks. Any help would be appreciated.

I just installed a new fuel filter. The car is running great but I'm having some problems with one of the hollowed out bolts that connects the fuel line to the filter... It's leaking a steady drip. Should I just get some new metal gaskets? Would a liquid gasket work? I'm scared that some liquid gasket would accidentally get into and damage the filter. Thanks!

Well, my 1999 eclipse started to shake upon acceleration a week ago. On the highway, I couldn't go over 60 mph without feeling like the car was going to break apart. I had it checked out, and the wheels were bent. So i got new wheels but it still shakes just as bad. I then got new tires as well. Still shakes. Wheels are perfectly balanced and aligned. What in the world can be wrong?

OK, I own a 93 Buick Regal. Whenever I start it, it feels like it shakes, especially when I put it reverse. When I put it back in drive and start gasing it, it seems fine. Once I get it up to about 40-50 miles an hour, the RPM drops and the car starts shaking. Also, the other day, I really gassed my car to back up, and my friend said he could smell gasoline. I replaced the coils in the car and it's got antifreeze, so I don't know what else it could be...
