I just installed a new fuel filter. The car is running great but I'm having some problems with one of the hollowed out bolts that connects the fuel line to the filter... It's leaking a steady drip. Should I just get some new metal gaskets? Would a liquid gasket work? I'm scared that some liquid gasket would accidentally get into and damage the filter. Thanks!

Remove that bolt, check to make sure there are metal gaskets on each side of the 'banjo' connection. If they are there, clean them up and tighten the bolt tighter. If they are not there, you will need to get some, these are what seal the gas in the system.

get a new gasket..clamp...it should fix the problem. If this don't work then you damaged the line so replace that part. Also be sure you tightened the lines securely.

get new aluminium or copper sealing washers for your car from your dealer as there are many different sizes some have to fit in recesses so the outside diameter may be important too
