I have been told that diesel engines don't wear very well in the long term and also that they are more expensive to maintain. The only diesel engines worth looking at are Audi or Mercedes V8 which have the same economy as a 1.8L Is this all true?`

lately my car has been stalling every few miles and I would let it set for a few minutes and it starts, today it stalled out again but did not start back up for about 3 or four hours and when I finally got it started it backfired a bunch and I couldn't give it gas,it was sputtering the whole way home.I just bought a new fuel filter,so thats not the problem.Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

Each seat would be facing each other up against the side panels instead of facing the front. Then the seat belts would have to be installed if possible.

I have a 96 Plymouth Grand Voyager that has completely stopped running, and won't start, twice now. It happened once, then after repairs that included a fuel filter, pvc valve, air filter and fuel pump, it sputters and stalls, and the engine light comes on. The mechanic has checked the wiring harness, and tried another computer in it, with no change in the results. This is a reputable car repair place with mechanics that have worked on my vehicle for about two years, and I trust them completely, but they seem to have no idea what's wrong. Also, I have replaced the serpentine belt twice and the belt tensioner three times, all under warranty, and now the tensioner is wiggly again. I don't know if these are conncted in some way. The belt does not appear to come off. I had gas tank problems about three years ago, that were covered under a recall, and no longer seems to be a problem. I'm at my wits end. Any ideas?

i have an eight year old car that has gone through some normal wear and a couple accidents. while approaching a light i had to break firmly when the light changed. i did not slam the brakes. the car came to a complete halt then died. i was able to restart easily. i even drove a while longer to see if the problem happened again, but i had no further issues. i have a rebuilt transmission after a rear-end collision (i was hit from behind). could this be the culprit?
