My 2000 Fiat Punto seems to squeak a lot more than it used to, especially when I go over say manholes or uneven road surfaces. What could cause this? I recently had some brake pads replaced and I dont think the mechanic has put the wheels on properly could this be why? Thanks

Does anyone else besides me think a person working at a Autoparts store needs to be able to tell someone what kind of part they need for their vehicle and
if they can't do that, then they're not qualified for the job and need to find a different job. The reason I'm asking this question is because an employee aka team member at Autozone sold me the wrong transmission filter for my 2002 2WD Ford Ranger Egde.He asked me if I had a deep pan or a shallow pan. (Wasn't he suppose to know this?)

The reason I'm asking this question is because I just did this today in a barn that was 100 degrees inside with no lift. It was one hell of a job but I got it done but anywayz ... I went to Autozone a week earlier and bought the new filter and the guy at the counter kept asking me all about me truck. Like if it was a 2WD what size engine ect ... Then he asked me if it had a deep pan or a shallow pan. I was clueless(I thought he was supose to know this) He sent me out to measure the height with a tape measure. It was 2.75 inches tall so, I told him it had to be a deep pan. Well, unfortunatly I was wrong and he sold me the filter with a 2 inch extention tube on it. I put the new filter on and then the pan wouldn't go on because of the tube. I was so pissed at that point I just cute the tube off with a utility knife. The transmission is working fine now, but will that last long?

I notice axle-backs are cheaper, but it seems like the only difference is that cat-backs have an extra pipe. What's the difference in performane?

I need a place to change my oil in my 05 jetta car. The dealer told me I had to take it to them only because other people might mess it up or do it wrong. They close when I get out of work and they charge 50 bucks to do it. I have called a couple of known oil change places and they dont change diesel oil cars. Im frustrated about this. anybody know any place in san antonio that changes diesel oil cars?????

It's gonna cost you. All that money you saved with the excellent fuel mileage, you'll pay in maintenence /repair charges. If you can find a reputable knowledgable mechanic.

I have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer, with 52,000k. Is it time for me to change the plugs and wires? If so, is there a certain plug that is better than others? Or are they all the same?

I just got my car's 2 windows tinted this afternoon in the dealer, on one of them there was this spot, not very big but not small either, i thought it's some kind of water spot. Is it gonna go away after couple days or should I go bug the dealer to fix it? I don't know if it's a big problem or not. Any answer is appreciated. Thanks!
