a user manual for a 19997 fiesta encore 1.3i. i've looked on ebay and tried the ford website. any ideas anyone??

as in the original one supplied with the car? breakers yards or look in the classified section of classic car mags, there are people who deal in such things, not that a fiesta is a classic car, but they may help.
for a workshop manual, go to halfords or the haynes publishing website

Haynes automotive repair manuals ussually found at AutoZone orAdvance you can ask for manual #36030 or give haynes a call at 805-498-6703

Have you called your local Ford dealer directly? Sometimes they'll be able to order things not listed online.

public libraries sometimes have service and owners manuals for all types of cars. or you could go to a ford dealer and ask them.
