can the fuel injectors be stuck open because of the air flow meter?...because i ran a self diagnostics test and those were the 2 codes it came up with....and the injectors are filling the throttle body to the top with fuel

That's a pretty stuck injector! I suspect something is wrong inside the injector itself. Try unplugging the injector and turning the engine on. If the injector is stuck open, it will start spraying fuel as soon as the fuel pump comes on, even if you have it unplugged. Replace such an injector or have it rebuilt.

If it doesn't do this, your air flow meter has confused the computer to the point that it's telling the injector to spray when the engine is not running. In that case, it's time for a new air flow meter.

a stuck open fuel injector will inject fuel into the cylinder only, and you'll smell a ferocious amount of gas out the tailpipe.
the other problem could be fuel pressure regulator closed up and fuel not being allowed to go back to the gas tank.

i think you might be right on that you would just have to replace them to see if thats problem solved!
