mlw0351 is obviously a mechanic that thinks no one but a mechanic can work on a car. Those leaks you mentioned are not complicated repairs and a do it yourselfer could do it if he had a good repair manual and a lot of patience ... of yeah, and a good camera. I've learned that it's always a good ideal to take pictures before you remove any kind of part from your vehicle.
And if you do it or you have a mechanic do it make sure you replace the rear main seal while the oil pan is off.
Good Luck

I assume you mean 60,000 miles on the car, but yes these leaks are fixed fairly easily, but by a mechanic who has experiance not some do it yourselfer. I probably would not choose the dealer for the job as there labor rate is much higher than local repair shops the best is to shop around for a fair rate in your area. Here in CA the dealers rates are about $100.00 - $150.00 depending on dealer and some are higher. A good local shop is $69.00 - $89.00 so good luck. Oh and that rate is per hour so you are looking at about 12 hours of work on your. Plus local shop tend to be more flexible on pricing ask for a discount don't take the first price they give you (most salesmen start high) negotiate a price.

Fix the valve covers first .That will take care of most of the leaks.
The 3.8 was made by Buick and it is a Leaker.

Congratulations! You own one of the worst cars ever produced!

Your prizes are numerous oil leaks, a droopy headliner, and general disrespect from other drivers.

Get rid of that car. Sell it to a mexican or something.
