Remove pressure from the system, I pulled the fuel pump relay with the engine running to get most of it. The filter is located on the front upper portion of the tank, make sure the new filter has the retaining tabs. The filter is clamped in place with a plastic band and a #2 Phillips screw that will probably strip out ( I replaced it with a hose clamp) squeeze the retaining tabs together on one of the lines and pull it straight off, the old tabs should stay with the filter. Transfer the lines to the new filter, make sure they are in the correct spot.
Clamp the new filter in the correct spot, drain the old filter in a suitable container, and go wash your hands from the elbow down.

Buy the filter so you know what to look for.
Under the vehicle near the rear of drivers door is where it should be.
It looks like a beer can with a fitting at top and bottom.
Find wrench that fits new filter and use it to hold old filter.
Use another wrench to turn fitting and remove lines.
Gas will drip so hold a towel under it.
Put a little oil or grease on threads of new filter and install.
Start Blazer and look for leaks.

Don't do it yourself - go to the dealer, those connections at the filter can only be disconnected with special tool, if not done correctly, fuel may leak. Seriously, it won't cost you that much but you will be safe.
