I just got my car's 2 windows tinted this afternoon in the dealer, on one of them there was this spot, not very big but not small either, i thought it's some kind of water spot. Is it gonna go away after couple days or should I go bug the dealer to fix it? I don't know if it's a big problem or not. Any answer is appreciated. Thanks!

the tint is applied with a fair amount of water, so it may be some water trapped under the film, if so it will disappear within a few days, if it doesn't the dealer should repair it at no charge. you should contact the dealer to make them aware of it just in case it doesn't go away. also when cleaning the windows be very careful, don't use paper towels, best to use soft cloth like a t-shirt and try to stay away from most glass cleaners that use alcohol (will deteriorate the film faster) sparkle cleaner was recommended to me

If it doesn't go away in 2 to 4 days take it back. Sometimes water trapped inside the tint will cause this and will go away in this time period. If it doesn't it is some trash in it. By the way DO NOT roll the window down for at least a day, 2 is better.

ASK THE DEALER TO GIVE YOU A COMPROMISE LETTER TO CHANGE THE TINTED PLASTIC COMPLETLY AT NO CHARGE AND TO YOUR COMPLETE SATISFACTION IF THAT SPOT DOES NOT DISAPPEAR COPLETELY WITHIN XX DAYS. THIS WAY THE DEALER WILL SIGN THELIMIT DATE FOR FIXING BY CHANGING. JUST WATCH UP SINCE SOMETIMES THEY USE A SHARP PIN TO EXTRACT THE WATER OR AIR TRAPPED BETWEEN THE GLASS AN THE PLASTIC SHEET, IF THEY USE THIS TECHNIC ASK THEM TO CHANGE THE COMPLETE PLASTIC SH. OTHERWISE WITH TIME IT WILL GO TO HELL

I would give the dealer a call and tell them your concern. I didn't have any spots on mine, but I would check on that for your own piece of mind.

Give it a few days, it may be that the glue needs to heat shrink, or something. If after three days, its still there, then take it back and inquire at the dealership what they are going to do about it...

I wish you well..
