I bought ford mustang 2003 with 52k, the drive is little shakey, I mean shaking little more for bumpy road. Do I need to change shocks or can I continue with that, I do not want to spend money on that.
Initial pick up also less, is that mean slippary transmission or anythng else. I drove at 95mi/hr on interstate, running very good, but intially has low pickup(rpm showing 2000rev/min at 70 mile speed.)
Can any one suggest or share their experiences ?
advice me if I need to take any immediate action.

I have a 2002 Buick Rendezvous and I have been told that both rear spindle bushings are bad and both lower control arm bushings are bad. It's going to cost me around $1,100 to repair, so I am considering leaving them as-is. One repair shop has told me that the main impact of these problems are premature tire wear. Are there any safety concerns with these problems?

1994 Ford escort wagon 122,000miles Ok I drove the car from one location to another about 1 1/2 hr. drive car was parked in driveway I was not operating it due to no license. I went to start the car after 2 weeks and the battery was dead. So after about another 4 weeks I put a battery from a similar car into it and everything in the car works it turns over sounds good while it's trying to start but will not fully start. I recently had a problem with the fuel pump failing . I had it looked at and tested but was told it was fine. Could it be sparks plugs?...dirty plugs?. I dont know any mechanics and seeing as i dont have a license I'm not going to pay a large amount of money to have it towed to fix it..I just want to get it started so I can store it...now the battery that I put into the car was a larger battery it was for a 97 mercury sable wagon 6 cylinder mine is a 4 cylinder with a 1.9 liter could that be the problem...Im a female ...he he he I have no clue..please please help

I have a '03 Lancer ES. I had my engine light on and had it checked. I was told it was my O2 sensor so I got a second opinion to be sure and was told the same. I ordered the sensor and my brother in law installed it on my car before i could even open the package to make sure it was the right one. So i had a mechanic check and clear the engine coding. About 3 hours later the light came back on. On my invoice from the mecahnic, he listed the codes. whcich are PO135, loosely tranlates to O2 heater Bank 1 sensor 1; the other code PO421, warm up cat efficiantcy low. I just when to Auto zone for them to run a diaignostic and the code for the 'cat?' came up. Please someone tell me what these are specifcally pertaining to. Also, prior to the engine light initially coming on, there was a recall on the catalytic converter..so that was replaced...the light coming on shortly after that? What's going on with my car? I don't wanna shell out more money but my little girls ride in it.

i got a 91 plymouth acclaim and i dont know whats wrong with my car theres two things one when i satart my car it barely turns on and i drive with my heater for a lil while i turn my car off and it will not start it wont make no noise like if the battery doesnt have a good connection could it be that cuz like i turn the ignition nothing comes on but the radio and all that stuff is on i need help but once it gets cold agian it turns on? and my car like sputters orsomething when im driving does that just mean i need some fuel injector fluid cuz imy engine is fuel injected or wa

We bought a 1997 Kia Sephia RS last year. It has recently been blowing white smoke from the exhaust pipes..which we obviously thought was either the valve seals or a blown head gasket. We have replaced both of these things and yet the smoke keeps coming out constantly for about 30 minutes and then it lightens up until you rev the engine. We have done a compression check and we have 165 -170 PSI. We are unsure of the air/fuel mixture as we thought that was computerized and are not sure how to check this. The car runs smooth other than the smoke. The smoke smells rich... but no oil smell. What else could be the problem?

I was given a 89 ram 50 2.6, with no carb on it. have found 2 carbs one off 2.0 one from 2.6 have installed the one from 2.6 but don;t hav e a whole lot of vacuum, no advance need some help with the vacuum lines. the motor is new truck will run, but since the lines are not right runs really rough.

I just asked a question about my Chystler Van...It is making a Tick tick tick sound and I just changed the oil...someone told me that it might take a little while after the oil change to make the tick tick go away...is that true? I have a 97' Chystler Town and Country Van..It has been making this loud tick tick noise! I just changed the oil because some one said it was a sticky lifter and I needed to do that..I put seafome in it and oil treatment and heat in the gas. And it is still ticking..What do I do. Please help me!

Driving on the freeway, the car jolted, quickly loss power but regained it, then a couple of min. later it did it again and regained power, then again but this time it did it three times then lost all power as I pressed on the gas pedal. I tried to start it again and it felt like it wanted to start a couple of times then after i tried it a 3rd or 4th time, it wouldnt even begin to kick over. Possible fuel injector or pump?

Please help as this is my only vehicle and i dont want to impose on anyone for a ride. Thanks!

I bought a 1998 buick lesabre form an old man. He was like 87 years old. He buttered me up before he sold the car by buying me lunch and talking to me about my personal life and his. I bought the car for 3700 dollars. It drove great for the first 50 miles. Then I took it to get an oil change. About 20 miles after the oil change the engine began to knock loud. I checked the oil and the pressure and they were both fine. Took it to a mechanic and he said the rod is knocking bad and is about to go. Told me for a rebuild it's going to be about 3700 dollars. The cars only worth about that much. So I got screwed. What can I do to cut my losses. The mechanic told me to put some engine honey in it and try to trade it in. The trade in value is blue booked at 3700. I don't want to sell the car to anybody else because I think it is wrong. But I cannot afford to take a 3700 loss. WHat should I do? Any ideas will be appreciated and considered. Thanks.

Is there anyway that I can erase the light on the above vehicle without taking it to a main dealer?
Ford, Nissan and Renault have a user mode which can be used to erase the airbag warning light. Can anyone help?
I have even tried disconnecting the battery to reboot the vehicle systems and without success I may add.
