I was given a 89 ram 50 2.6, with no carb on it. have found 2 carbs one off 2.0 one from 2.6 have installed the one from 2.6 but don;t hav e a whole lot of vacuum, no advance need some help with the vacuum lines. the motor is new truck will run, but since the lines are not right runs really rough.

Unless the little trucklett has been in a collision, there is a vacuum routing decal somewhere on the underside of the hood. if there is none there or anywhere else under the hood, then you will need to refer to a repair manual. If you just got the pick-up and are doing your own work, it will pay great dividends to purchase one. Available at the local parts store, Amazon, BN.com etc. < $20.00. If money is an issue, try the local library in the REFERENCE section.
While you are at the library, ask if they subscribe to either Mitchell On-Demand or ALLDATA. These are computer based repair references and are VERY good.
