I have a 2002 Buick Rendezvous and I have been told that both rear spindle bushings are bad and both lower control arm bushings are bad. It's going to cost me around $1,100 to repair, so I am considering leaving them as-is. One repair shop has told me that the main impact of these problems are premature tire wear. Are there any safety concerns with these problems?

Yes, somewhat. You will have sloppy control of the car. It may jitter a bit or even tend to lope suddenly to one direction. Not hard, but you will notice it. You will probably notice a shudder as well. These aren't terrible, but noticable. Unsafe, well, to a small degree. Managable, yes. It's totally up to you. Plan on buying tires about once every 20 thousand miles. Good luck. Maybe sell the car and use the money to get a better one.

If you do loose one of the rear bushings altogether it could cause a rollover if you turn the steering wheel to sharp.Like trying to miss an object in the road..Please have it repaired.fairly soon...Thank you...I care for Life
