89 Nissan Sentra , neither back doors open, now having trouble with front doors , not opening or closing in the cold. Need to put 3 year old grandson in back seat at 10 pm . It is cold , need doors to work. Any ideas? Thank you.

My car recently had the cam posistioning sensor replaced, and I thought this would fix the jerking, but to no avail. It primarily occurs during mid-range acceleration, esp going uphill, its not violent, its usually just a quick bumb or 2. It also does it when I give it gas in reverse, but is fine if I just shift into reverse and idle backwards, any help would be great, because it cost 486$ to get the sensor replaced and I have to drive home(800 miles) in 2 weeks

It shows anywhere from 1/2 -3/4 of a tank when it is full but after half a tank of driving or so i have no idea. thanks for any help

Hi, I accidentally poured transmission fluid into my car's oil thing (lol). What do I do? Will it damage my car to drive it <1 mile to the mechanic to get the oil drained and changed, or do I need to tow the car?

im interested in buying this car, its a 1995 chevy corsica, and it turns over but won't crank, they guy said its the starter, every starter i ever had to go out would make a sound but not even turn over, like a clicking or grinding sound. so can it be the starter with that happening, i have never heard this car started. is there a way to start it without the starter, just temporarily , so i can hear it run? or does it sound like it has other problems?

I have a 2001 mitsubishi eclipse, when I first start it up and am reversing out of a parking space or whatever, and I have the brakes on, the car jerks a lot, only when the brakes are on and usually in reverse. Its jsut for the first 20 seconds or so though>
What could this be?

I own a 1993 Mercury Gran Marquis. For some reason, after having the car for a year, the transmission is slipping. The first gear, I have to rev a little to shift that gear. The second gear, feels like its grinding, but eventually it will shift. The third and forth gears work fine. My car is good on highway, but horrible on stop and go. Also i have to turn the overdrive off, to accelerate above 50. And the check engine light comes on. Now I tried putting Lucas stop slip fluid into the transmission, and that made things worst. Now it won’t shift into second at all. I’m guessing the Lucas did something to the burned fluid in their before. When I checked to fluid level, it was too high, and brown. I tolled it to the nearest mechanic, and tomorrow i will see if flushing the transmission will save it. Could there been anything else, other than replacing it. I’m in college and i really cant afford to buy another car.

I had it tested and the scanner calls for the pre-catylic converter o2 sensor, which I ordered. As I drove it later on, the truck ran real rough, low RPM at idle, and as I accelerated, it had little power. The Check Engine light, which was already on, started to flash for about a minute, as the truck ran poorly. After about 60 seconds the light went back to solid as the truck ran normal again. Will the o2 sensor fix that problem as well, or do I have something worse waiting for me...

I have a 97 Blazer, my ABS light comes on and then my power windows, cruise control, temp on my console and my ac fan blower and compressor all quit. Seems it comes on mostly after I fill up with gas. (Or at least the last 3 times). I dont have any clue as to what might be the problem. Please help if you have heard of this and know what might be wrong. Thanks!

It started last week. At first, the information center/climate control wouldn't come on, then one day, it just popped on!! Now, my turn signals, horn, climate control and information center are all off!! I am sure it is an electrical problem, but will it cost a lot to fix? I am taking it to get looked at, but I want to have an idea of what to expect as far as price goes.

I have a 2002 GMC Envoy with 110,000 miles that idles very low when in gear and in drive or park when brakes applied. It idles fine when I put it in park and it idles fine when I drive. The dealer didn't find any codes and said they didn't find anything wrong.

I don't know what it could be, but I want to know what others may think.

2001 olds alero. I've replaced both rear and front brake pads and rotors. Two brand new tires in the front. The tires have been balanced. I'm getting a significant vibration coming from the front end. When driving at 65 mph plus, there is a significant vibration on my steering wheel.

My factory tire is a 225/75/15, but I found some snow tires that are 205/75/15 would this be a decent tire to run in the snow? I know that wider tires arent as good as narrower tires, but which is wider - and will it really make a difference???

Ok..I have a 98' Ford Mustang Gt and when i went to start my car today it would not start i just heard a griding noise when i tried to turn the key....My check engine light came on and it made this beeping noise i have never heard of....The lights come on and the door dings and the radio plays but if i leave the key in the ignition for about a min or so the door ding starts to die down...I figure its the battery but im not sure.....
