I have a 2001 ford explorer sport and its starting to shake and make a loud humming noise what do you think that is?

it really shakes alot when I'm stopped and even if its in park and the noise is constant. I really feel the shaking coming from under my seat drivers side.THANKS

sounds like an engine or transmission mount vibration, have them checked for sagging.

Either you have really bad motor mounts or your Harmonic balancer is screwed up and needs to be replaces. Look at the bottom pulley with your hood open and see if the pulley seems warped.
Does the engine sound like it's running fine?
But just shakes. If it's not running good there may be other problems.

You need to give more details. When does it do this? What speed? Is it constant or just when you accelerate?

Possible guesses include U joints? Stuck brake? Differential concerns? etc......

Tires caused by bad alignment lack of rotation bad suspension..... really need more info though

I would get to a tire shop and have my tires looked at. Sounds like you may have a tire about to fail.
