It sounds like you have a weak fuel pump. As your car sits there no running, the gas is draining back down into the tank. A weak fuel pump will also not give the injectors enough gas to remain running.

There should be a connection under the hood that you can hook a Gage to and check fuel pressure. Check the pressure against the specs.

If it does turn out to be the pump, I would replace the fuel filter as well. If the filter gets plugged up, the pump works harder to push gas through it and can burn the pump up.

Also is there gas in the vehicle? Sometimes the gages can get out of whack and show you have fuel when you don't. You can test this too. Just don't put a lot of gas in it or the gas tank will be heavy to work with

hiya lil bunny :D

well it starts but its having a hard time staying running, so to me that rules out a bad starter,

i would have the fuel pressure checked,
i would have to say that it is a clogged fuel filter and/or weak fuel pump

bad/worn out fuel pumps are a common occurance especially on these vans,
we have replaced many,
they are inside the fuel tank you have to drop them and tak the sending unit out to remove the pump

email or IM me anytime if you wish :D i like other wabbits, since im a silly wabbit :D

good luck :P

You might need to replace your alternator if it isn't you battery. Or maybe the plugs, (alternator), just need to be cleaned or replaced.
