I was in an automobile accident in November 2006 which I was not at fault.I was hit head on by a driver running a stop sign.The next day I went to the Emergency room for shoulder pain.It was believed that I had whiplash and the pain would go away.The pain did not go away and about 2 weeks later I went back to the ER for a followup and I had Xrays done.After the Xrays an MRI was scheduled and the radiologist found that I had swollen bone marrow in my shoulder from the accident and osteoarthritis had quickly set in.Besides pain and pressure of my shoulder feeling like it was going to fall off, everytime I moved it grinded and was popping.I was sent to a bone/joint specialist and they recommended to excercise it by lifting weights to ease the pain. I went back 6 weeks later (today) for a followup and the pain has stopped but the popping/grinding has not.I will have the arthritis for the rest of my life.The insurance company wants to settle and I dont know a monetary $ value to tell them.

I just sold my car (02/04) and am trying to rent a car until I buy the new car (02/05-02/15).

What happens to the auto insurance that I had with the car that I just sold (I paid the coverage until 02/16). Was it automatically terminated when I sold my car? Since my policy covers the insurance for the rental car too, if it will continue until 02/16, I don’t have to pay for additional rental insurance at a rental shop (I believe I paid around $13 per day before). Also, does debit cards (from local banks) also usually cover the insurance for the rental car too (I know most of credit cards do that).

I was making a left hand turn after making a stop at a stop sign across two lanes onto a road. I stopped looked and didnt see anything and thats all I remeber till later that night being in the hospital. The cops rulled me at fault, but the report has not been written, as far as i know the lady didnt try to stop at all and plowed me at 45! Will any blame be put on her for not paying attention? Am i screwed because i cant rember anything cuz she hit me so hard!

My girlfriend and I are getting married next year. She just bought a new car but has a speeding ticket, and accident, and questionable credit that is driving her insurance up more than the car payment. I've gotten quotes online and insurance would be considerably cheaper under my name. We both drive the car equally. Would this be possible?

recently, i had a very minor fender bender by backing out a parking space and hitting a car behind me the damages was not excessive, my car was not damages at all not even a nick are scratch on it but the other person car had some light scratches and slight indentation at that area, i ask her as we got out i am callin police to come write up a police report, she begged me not to, so she ask for my name and phone number only nothing else i felt so weird about that because from my experience u need a police report to even file a claim to ur insurance, but any way my question was can u have ur auto insurance company fix ur car without formal police report? and this person have not contacted me since the car excident.. what now? its been a month..

i just turned 16 and have done the parent taught model program 101 drivers ed thing. what do i need to bring in to the dps? what should i expect when i am there? do they just take your picture and give you your license?

I am a student and I am using my parent's address, but I don't live there (I live in insurance hell aka Detroit). I would hate to pay all this money for insurance and if something happened I couldn't get a claim authorized.

I'm purchasing a used truck from a relative of mine for pretty cheap and I'll have to drive the vehicle back down, about 130 miles, to my city by myself. My question is do I have to purchase insurance for the truck before I go up there? Or do I have a grace period where I can drive the truck (say 5 days) without insurance and then once I have the title and other paperwork in my name, go and get insurance? I'm in the state of California, if that helps.

i got hit by a snow plow and it was clearly not my fault according to the police report. i just want to get my hospital bills covered and my car fixed (totaled). the other guy is not hurt and no damage was done to his plow. i don't have insurance (i know... i royally screwed up), what are my options??? i am meeting with lawyers this week, but do i have a case? also... i'm really upset that my airbags did not deploy on a brand new car. my face is bruised up pretty bad. seat belt and all. help!!!

I want to get a second car and let my 17 year old drive it.

I am trying to find a car insurance company that will let me have every thing in my name and have her as the principal driver of my second car.

The problem I am having is she is moving down the street.

I can not find a car insurance company that will let me have what is called a different garage adress on the car I am wanting to let her use.

I am in the state and I have tryed all most all the car insurances companys around here and online.

I have even tryed to have things put in her name but it would cost her around 300$ dollars a month to insurance it. And that is just the basic insurance. That is why i want to just keep everything in my name

Any idea's would help.

And not I not going to lie and just have her drive it and move and not let the insurance company she is driving it.
