In my opinion the best company to use for car ins is The Post Office. We got a new car and the company tht we were with wanted to charge us 150 per mnth tht was almost treble wht the Post Office quoted us and you get 50 pounds cash back with them.Ive had to call them a few times about enquires and the are the nicest most helpfull people.I wouldn't got anywhere else now

Contact the Post Office, online or phone, they more than halved my insurance renewal, gave me better cover
AND £50 CASHBACK.
The crunch was when the documents came I was insured with the same company I had been with previously !!!!
I'll be using them again.

Ive found the best insurance company to be www.tesco.com and www.Directline.com, this is from my 7 years of driving. There are lots of adverts for norwich union, elephant, esure, the aa, hastings direct etc.
The insurance also depends on your age and the type of vehicle your driving or going to buy. You can on the other hand go through a specialist i.e performance or classic specialist. give tesco and directline a try.

All the companies say they the best. My wife got run into the side of a bridge and my insurance, Allstate, didn't say a word. The damage was $4750.00. I recommend Allstate.

We have used Halifax for the last few years but this year we will be checking through the cash back sites - to see what the best quote is that we can get and if there is cash back that we can claim
If you are interested in joining cash back sites then a great site is
http://www.yrux.com/money_saving.htm
there a few links to cash back sites and you can earn money back from online retailers when you purchase online

Depends on your priorities. www.confused.com, www.moneysupermarket.co.uk, www.martinsmoneysavers.com.
One of the best at the moment is Virgin insurance. You can pay over 12 months and there is no fee charged for interest.

i am very well researched and recommend direct line as the cheapest. Zurich may match or very slightly better them, but are a pain in the *** to deal with in ALL circumstances. Direct Line are very friendly and dont give you any hassle when you need to make a claim.. no forms etc. Go to their web site and you can type in your details and see how much you quote will be. go see. !
