I just went in the dealership with my girl friend and purchased a new car. The financing hasn't gone completely through and I'm praying that it gets denied, since it's the weekend, they said we were approved but there is that possibility of financing not going through. Anyways, they need paystubs, w2's etc. well I don't want to give them any info, for the hope that the loan gets denied, and they are saying they need to verify the info for fraudulent reasons. I have to meet with the director tomorrow and a little nervous. My father said to stand my ground and tell them that you don't have the info they are requesting. I just don't want the car because the payments are crazy and they recommended we do a voluntary repo on our current vehicle. What should I do? Is there anything I could do?
Thanks.

I have to pay out of pocket for another persons car that I damaged.
The thing is, I don't want the insurance company to put in thousands of dollars in repair and then turn around and decide total it out. That would mean I'd not only have to pay for another vehicle, that I'd have to pay for the work that was done on the original car as well.

Is this fair ! or do they decide to total it out before even starting the work?

I was in a car accident a few hours ago.

An suv suddenly stopped when they saw a cat running across the street. I braked hard when I saw them stop but I still hit them in the back.

I drive a smaller car so my front bumber is wrecked while their car suffer nothing but a scratch and a broken license plate. With my damaged radiator, bumper and hood, I was able to drive the car back home because I live near the scene of the accident.

The question is, whose fault is it?

I have a liability only insurance so I have to cover the cost of the car repair out of my pockets. I dont want to report the incident because it will just raise my insurance payment. Should I report this and claim the other driver responsible? Will their insurance pay for my car? or is it me at fault for hitting them?

My father said that Im at fault because I was probably chasing the car in the front too close. So reporting this will just affect me negatively. What should I do?

This is the deal, the car could possibly be totaled, however, if the auto body shop starts working on it and later the insurance company decided to total it out instead. Who ends up paying for the work up to the point that it was stopped. Since I'm paying for the work or the totaled car. Is it right for me to have to pay for both?
In my opinion it should be either totaled or not?

I don't think it would be fair for me to pay for a totaled car and the unfinished auto body work....

I was driving back home with a rental we had liability on our vehicle that we have so we did not think that we would need it on the rental. However the tire blew out and caused us to smash in the wall and and ripped the back bumber off. Now they want to charge us over 3000 dollars for the damages. Can they do this and why? they said is took 14 days for the vehicle out of use and charged us each day is this write?

Just wanted to know before I started paying on it. Thanks

Are there fewer automobile accidents? If you have stats or some evidence would be helpful.

In June last year a car hit me from behind.
This wrote off my car and gave me a whiplash injury. This week I have had the first offer for the settlement of my whiplash injury just over 1300 pounds. I now have to ring my solicitor for advice
To me this is an insult as I am still suffering quite badly from this injury.
In another issue I am having with third party insurance they have offered me 50 pounds for the removal of my car stereo from my old car which was damaged due to the impact. I have told them that I wrote off the car stereo along with the car.
To me the third partie insurers are treating me like as if I just come down in the last rainfall. Also they offered me a kick in the privates offer for the scrap of my car (even though it was 12 yrs old)
Now... I know you do not accept the first offer. But does anyone think that the other insurance company are trying to 'short change me?
I could do with some advice from anybody who knows a bit about personal injury. THANKS
