my wife had a bump in her car today nothing major a old guy may make a fuss were worried about losing her 3 years no claims if we dont hear anything when can we forget about it??????

You see, a few hours after the accident, the careless driver did not call his insurance company to make a claim and that it is his fault (which is very clear). So I have to wait for him to acknowledge that it was his fault so I could go to rent-a-car to be charged to his insurance. Im very busy and with his carelessness I have to deal with all this work while he does nothing to acknowledge/report this accident. I want to call him to report this accident immediately so that repair and rentals can be processed ASAP. Remember, I dont have time for this bullshit but I dont have his telephone no or address. Everytime I call his insurance company, they would say give him time to call. Well, I dont have time and I want a rent-a-car by noon... so I can sleep and go to work at night. He wrecked my car and the guys insurance say give him time. While the wreckless driver drove off with little scratch on his car, I dont have one to driver tonight for work.

I owe 13k but the car is worth 6k (I got screwed on the original deal but that is a different can of worms). Anyway. The damages exceed 6k but not 13k. What happens now? I am waiting on the insurance company to get back to me but that may be another couple of days. Hope you all can give me some insite in the interim.

I lived in NJ until last year then I moved to NC. I went back to NJ for a funeral and got pulled over for speeding on the way there. I paid the ticket and thought that was it. I came back to NJ a month ago and got pulled over a week ago, for 1 of my 2 license plates lights being out, and the officer told me my NJ license was suspended. I handed in my NJ license to the NC dmv when I moved and according to the officer my NC license was fine.

How can he write me a ticket for driving on a suspended license when I was driving on my NC license and it was fine?

I found out my license was suspended for not paying some insurance surcharge fine, they said they sent me a letter but I never got it. They have my phone number but never called me, I've never even heard of an insurance surcharge. I paid the fine the next day when I found out why my license was suspended, paid the $100 to unsuspend my license also.

I bought a new car and had to put my mom on the title so she could register it an put it under her insurance because I couldn't get insurance on NJ. My mom moved out of state last year and I need to reregister my car in my name but the bank still has my title. can i just go to the dmv and register the car in my name? i'm afraid they're gonna ask my mom to come and shes like 12 hours away.

the title is in both of our names.

I just bought a used car from a dealer,
and signed all those long contract and stuff,
and they said that the registration, and title will come in mail from the DMV, is that right?
They did give me a temporary registration sticker or something they put on my windows.

I've just completed a years insurance and as a result have gained one years no claims. However i'm changing my insurance company, but I don't know how I prove that i've got one years no claims? Help!

My wife and I were involved in an auto accident recently. We were hit from behind while waiting at a traffic light (red).
They other diver aggreed that it was his fault. Both of us have auto insurance from same company. His policy is covering damage to my car. My insurance company (which is same as his) says I get health coverage from my policy and not his policy.

Since it is from my policy, they say, I am subjected to deductibles and co-pay.

My question is
a) Is it true that irrespective of whose fault it is, I get health benefits from my policy?

b) If the other driver's policy is covering my medical expenses, will I still have to pay for co-pay and deductible? After all it is his fault and why should I bear additional cost?

c) I have bodily injury liability in my policy. Similarly other driver must be having the same. That means his policy should pay me.

I am 17 and i have my drivers license, i know that here in florida the state can and will take your license if you miss like 15 unexcused days out of 90 from school. I have quit going to school all together so i am sure they should be suspending it soon. If so, can i get it un susoended when i turn 18 in march?

I was rear-ended at a stop light. The 19 year old grazed my rear left bumper with her right front bumper. She tried to hit and run but the light was red up ahead. I got out the car and wrote down her plate number and knock on her window to inform her. We exchanged information. I filed a claim on the same evening against her dads insurance company and gave my statement.
16 days later, she decided to give her statement and my claim was denied. According to her insurer, I backed into her??? STRANGE. My deductible is $1000 and the damage is $800.
I am screwed on both end. My insurance could not help because of my deductible and the other denied my claim due to her dishonesty.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...to win in a small claims court. "No witnesses since she tried to hit and run and she failed to stop at the scene"

Are those other expenses added to the value of the car when deciding if the car is totaled? Or is the auto body estimate seperate? In other words lets say a car is valued at $5,000.00 and auto damage estimate was $2000.00, the auto rental $500 and the towing $100. Does it end up being 2600.00 in damages or does it stay at $2000.00.
