I pay 130.00 per month for my truck (2005 Dodge Ram) as per insurance. But they tell me that if I ever have an accident I will have to pay them 1,300.00 for deductables? Should I just open my own savings account and instead of paying for insurance should I just save it just incase of an accident?

I'm used to paying $90 a month on insurance. Is $500 normal for ANY new motorcycle. I've looked at several models and Geiko (online) is telling me 500 for a motorcycle and 1200 a month for a new car. I'm eighteen, when my brother was eighteen he blought a pt. cruiser (new) and he pays 200 a month, I've never had a n accident and I get good grades at college (discount). Am I doing something wrong or is this normal?

I have a question about getting my car inspected in North Carolina. I just moved here from New York and I will only be living in North Carolina for 4 months. Do I need to get my Car Registered in North Carolina? My New York inspection runs out this month. I know that in some states you can get your car inspected in that state, even if it is registered in another state. Can I get my car inspected in North Carolina, with a New York Registration?
