You don't need a lawyer, you just need to contact your insurance company. They have a legal obligation to defend you.

Assuming that there were no serious injuries to your or your passengers, there is NO need to hire an attorney. All that will do is eat into your claim settlement, leaving you less to get your car fixed or replaced.

Why do you need a lawyer? He/she/it will only take 33% of your settlement money for minimal work. Why don't you at least TALK with the adjuster(s) first -- you can always hire a scum-bag lawyer if forced to.
