My concern is why I could not pay online???? What are your best answers can you shed any light ????

When I have that come up on my screen, it usually means the person has oustanding tickets that have to be paid. He has to go to the courthouse, pay them, and bring the receipt back to me. I then have to call in to DVL and verify that I actually have a receipt in hand, that has words to the effect there are no longer outstanding amounts owing. I have also seen pop-ups stating no registrations can be done because of other court-related restrictions, such as oustanding child-maintenance amounts.

In California it could me any or more..of the following
1) Unpaid parking tickets on that car..
2) Warrant out for you for a moving violation for which you did not appear.
3) Child Support issues.. if you are delinquint the court will hold your vehicle registration and transfer.
4) IRS problems (god I hope not.. you may as well cut off your testicles.. its less painful)
5) Computer glitch..
