It depends, if you mother carries insurance that covers unisured drivers driving the vehicle you would be okay. You would probably want to transfer the title to her name also in the interim.

your mom would have to put your car in her name. she also would have to list you as a driver and with your record the insurance would more than likely be high anyway. if she doesn't list you as a driver and they found out you were driving it all the time they would drop your mother like a hot potato and the only insurance she could get would be risk.

if u get pulled in a license check the u will be fine but if u wreck ur moms insurance will go up.

I think insurance companies accept what you claim and your money, but if you need to make a claim that's when they look for reasons not to pay.
