I just bought a Honda Civic and the dealer will only go down to 6.5%

recently i asked this question but left out some details.

I was in a car accident yesterday as a passenger. we were stoped at a stop sign when a woman came and hit us from behind at about 25-30 mph. At the momment i was looking at my boyfriend so my neck made a weird motion. I didn't think any think a bout my neck being hurt so i ignored it. She claimed it as 100% her fault to her insurance. at the time we were in san diego for my bf's birthday and i was angry it was ruined. The driver of the other car's bf ( not involved in accident ) seemed to feel really bad and gave us $100. we did not file a police report since no one was hurt, they said they do not come unless someones injured. later one the way home to LA i realized i have whiplash and today it has only gotten worst. im curious if the 100 the bf gave us will affect any sort of law suit and also what action i should take in order to make a claim and start the process... do i go through my bf's insurance or get my own laywer

Wondering if I can just disconnect the spak plug to avoid unwanted smoke? Also would this have any detrimental effect on my engine? I just need to pass emmisions.

I have replaced the sender/pump in the fuel tank. When the power plug is unplugged and the ignition on, the gauge goes to the full tank position. So I think the gauge is ok. But with both my old and new sender/pump in the tank, the gauge is all over the place. Sometimes 3/4 full, sometimes empty etc. any ideas ??

I have replaced the battery and alternator 2 times and it still won't charge...the car will run untill the battery runs down and then it dies. the battery light is on. any help

had a bad relay switch by battery, replaced it. now bike still won't start and if it does after it's ran it won't start at all for a couple of hours, the starter sometimes will spin, or half *** spin and other times turn but don't seem fast enough? the bike when cold will start if I put the charger on it and do a quick 35amp charge to it.

I have have 1991 suzuki 4 wheeler. Its a 2 stroke. My problem is,
we have put a new carb on it and now its like it isnt even getting gas . The petcock is not even working so the fuel just flows in to the carb. It is acting like its not getting the gas. it starts and run for a few min, but dies out. The spark plug looks to be fine. Dose anybody have some help for me. Thankyou.

I drive a 1993 Nissan Sentra Classic (B12 Series, E16I Engine, Canada). After taking in the vehicle for some problem I found the windshield washer pump is no longer responding.

I checked the wiring and it seems to be transmitting power. I disconnected the plugs into the pump and inspected the ends. There was this green/white thick paste over the leads so i used some rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush to clean it. Not very well tho. The plug going into the very bottom of the reservoir appears to have 2 wires going into it however the blue wire appears to be free floating, not connecting to the plug at all. My guess is this is the problem and it needs to be reconnected for the pump to work.

My questionare:

1. Any good tools to clean out this green/white paste from the leads? The area can be tiny and so my toothbrush isntgetting into the spaces as thorough as id like. If theres some needle-nose like brush with a coarse end, that could do the trick.

Service manual suggests replacing the Cabin Air Filter on my car but there is no reference to where the Cabin Air Filter is located on this car or the procedure to replace it and don't want to pay someone 20+ bucks for what is probably a 5 minute job.

I've read on the net that most of these filters are located behind the glove box or in the engine compartment on the passenger's side, but I don't just want to start tearing into stuff without having a decent idea of where it is located and the procedure for replacement. Anyone have detailed instructions for replacing the cabin air filter on this car? And ... does anyone know anyplace on the net where you can read and print sections of the service manual for this car and others for free or almost free? Thanks very much!

My brother likes to drive frequently with is hands @ the 6 o'clock position. This bothers me when riding with him b/c it looks as though if he would need to make a sudden evasive manuever it would take him time to reposition his hands to do so. Time that could possibly be needed to avoid an accident. So has anyone heard anything about it being dangerous to drive with your hands at certain positions on the wheel?

The leak appears to be coming from somewhere between my rear tires. It is a clear substance that has no smell. It has just started leaking just yesterday and I have not hit any bumps especially hard. Any help would help, plz no smart remarks!

after one year and three days my car stopped in the middle of the street the dealer closes to me was not the one I bought it from. they changed the computer in the engine and five days later I had to take it back in the dealer for a dragging start, then they put a fuel pump and it never started the same again, it drag some but not as much as before, also when I start it up the engine light is the last one to go off. 1 to 2 months later the radio started changing station on its own, I took it back and they ordered a new radio, the dealer that I bought it from wont touch it they say the problem is the dealer that I took it to first have to do the work it's seems that the everything started when it stopped first and everything is related because of the dealer that started working on it first but they wont address the drag start. I'm still waiting for my radio to be installed. I'm not a rocket scencetis but it seems like something stinks with this car.
