It is acting like its not getting the gas. it starts and run for a few min, but dies out. The spark plug looks to be fine. Dose anybody have some help for me. Thankyou.

What do you mean by "the petcock is not even working so the fuel just flows in to the carb"?
Either it works or it doesn't.
I'll assume you just made a type-o.
--Check the cylinder compression. If it's to low, there won't be enough vacuum created to suck the fuel in.
If you don't have a compression gauge -
Remove the spark plug
Put your finger over the hole and try to start the quad.
If the compression is good, it should blow you finger away from the hole with some force.
--Another test for top end damage -
Remove the exhaust pipe.
Look into the exhaust port with a flash light & mirror.
Any scoring of the piston & cylinder wall, or discoloration below the rings, it's time for a top end rebuild.
--The reed valves could be damaged or not sealing. That would cause the symptoms you're describing.
Remove the carburetor.
Remove the reed block.
Hold it up to the light.
The reeds should make a perfect seal and you shouldn't be able to see through it.
Also make sure they're not cracked or damaged.

Looking at your questions, I guess this will be your first time buy. If you have no experience in shifting gears, the Honda Aviator will be a fine buy. However if you would like to have better economy and a different kind of riding pleasure, I suggest you to go for the new Hero Honda NXG with self start. You may feel it is only a 100 and you can afford something better BUT honestly, for our normal city ride, you do not need anything more than the beautiful all-round performance and economy given by this new model from the leader in quality Hero Honda. Trust me. Go for a test ride and the rest will be clear as crystal.
