Assuming that's what it is, mine keeps running constantly and drains my battery. Is it worn out? And can it be replaced?

i never got a spare key when i purchased my car originally so i was just wondering apart from going straight to a vauxhall dealership if i can order the key over the net as i'm currently living in Germany!

does anyone know if by chance there is a steering knuckle that will interchange with that of a 1999 cougar?? (the knuckle would have to come from a car that they make a suspension kit for) or a nice aftermarket suspension kit from another type of car that will fit a 99-02cougar?? i am looking into installing a full coilover kit, such as tien, and they don't make a full kit for my car. i know that ground control makes a coilover sleeve for stock struts, or koni struts, but i want the full suspension kit. so far i am in no luck, please help. oh yeah, i know these cougars are chick cars, you don't have to tell me *sniffle* that's all i got!!

If a used car was purchased from a private party and the vehicle registration is not current, what happends when the new owner wants to register the vehicle? Will they have to pay for any of the late fees and penalties for the year(s) that the vehicle had not been registered? for instance if a vehicles registraion has been expired for 2 years and I purchase that vehicle will I, being the new owner have to pay for years the vehicle wasnt registered in order to bring the registartion current?

So I'm getting ready to buy my first car. It's located in the next town over. But if I just go over and pay cash and get it, there wouldn't be any insurance on it. It's illegal to drive without insurance.

Don't I need to drive without insurance first? If so, how would I explain to them that I don't exactly have a car yet?

I've got a 99 Ford Ranger 2.5L 4 Cyl. with a manual tranny. When I go to shift gears it is really difficult, sometimes requiring all my strength to force it into 1st gear. It doesn't grind at all, it just really doesn't want to go from neutral to 1st. What's wrong? Is it the clutch, a bad transmission? The synchros? Help me out here cause I'm a poor college student and have to use my money wisely.

I have an aux-in on my car stereo, so far, it works great with my XM Roady XT. But I also have a PDA with a GPS software; which has an output for the voice prompts; also via a stereo jack. I do not like to hear my GPS prompts over my music, which is usually too loud anyway and my PDA's speakers are too soft. I want a device that automatically overrides my XM Roady's music whenever it senses a voice prompt coming from my GPS output. Is there such an auto-switching source selector in the market?

As a side note: buying a new GPS unit is out of the question. Plugging in a small set of speakers to my PDA is also out. And I'm not keen in switching between my XM and my GPS on that single Aux in jack manually. I'm looking for a simple, automated solution. Only an auto-switching source selector would do.

i had a car that"s brand toyota corolla,i got matter about the auto transmission gearbox,my gear box cant change transmission while it arrive on 90km/h, usually it will automatically change gear when it reaches 90km/h and the RPM is around 2000/min. The gear will not change now although reach 100km/h. The gear oil has been replaced and there is some iron powder sticking around the oil panel in which the old gear oil that I released out. I have washed the gear oil filter and it is not much dirt. The problem is not being solved. Is there any solutions? My engine model is 4A-FE, Trans./AXEL A240L/04A, Oil meter reading shown Dexron 2.

i have a 72 beetle and when i go to start it after about a hour it wont start untill i pure a little gas in the carberator i put a electric fuel pump on it and it still has to have gas put in the carberator once it starts it will run great any idea why ??
